i see so many comments out here saying he is praising himself. He wasn't praising himself he was just trying to point out his credentials as an established photographer to show us viewers that he's not just guy talking crap. There are so many photographers out there who are still at beginner level of photography on RUclips who are doing tutorials. Stop giving the guy crap for pointing out his credentials. He earned it and there's no harm as a teacher to show it to us.

I agree with you. It's not praising, it's providing a background on why he knows what he's talking about. Plus, it's like the old saying, "You have to toot your own horn, no one else knows the tune." I really enjoyed the tutorial.

In our profession, the presentation of one's credentials, portfolio or showreel is normal practice. It's part of our culture, particularly in
the academics to present your qualification as well as your portfolio or showreel before you start sharing knowledge. I agree with Joshua, its lack of sincerity and jealous. it takes
talent and high levels of skill to get such awards and credentials, please help yourselves by working hard and still may not even get any of what this gentle has achieved and received.

I had zero knowledge on the manual settings of my 1200D. I bought this camera 4 years ago and have been shooting only on the AUTO mode. This video was on my recommendation but after seeing the duration of the video I skipped it. But on Aug 24 2020, I was thinking why should not I spend some time to watch this video. I watched the video with patience and observed all the topics that were taught. Even I could not believe that I am using all the manual modes on my camera.
Like sir said I took my camera onto the field and experimented all the tutorials taught, now I can shoot on all manual modes and I can decide how the image should be.

Thank you very much for this video. It contains plenty of useful information, and once in a while, I like to come back to this kind of videos for my own reference, and just like me, I guess lots of people do it too. As this video is quite long, allow me to post an index here for everyone's faster reference.
    *INDEX*
    Tutorial start - 6:09
Overview of the main settings in the camera - 6:49
    Image quality - 9:31

Focusing mode and focusing points - 29:20

I am happy Sudhir gave the introduction, as it gave me confidence that what he would say would be truthful and non-questionable. He is entitled to be proud of his achievements too.
I started a photography course at university, but didn't continue after finding out the teacher was only a wedding photographer with no qualifications. He was opinionated and gave false information that was called out on occasion by students, and he became defensive trying to cover his mistakes. He would say to himself, but loud enough for us to hear, that he found it wrong that students were questioning him.
My mention of him being just a wedding photographer, is because here in Queensland Australia, one can just pay a small amount of money to the government and be licensed as a wedding photographer. No need for qualifications or an apprenticeship. So I could buy a camera today, with absolutely no knowledge, and apply and be recognised as a wedding photographer.
These online tutorials are what I train myself with now. I do stop following anyone that gives incorrect information though, as it puts doubt in one's mind that what is being taught may not be correct. So thankfully, people like Sudhir are valuable and appreciated.

The flawless free flow words of each point shows your years of experience in this particular field. Good photographers may be available. But good photography teachers are rare. You are one such awesome guru. Lucid languge with proper guideline on screen using actual camera's settings is the best way to teach even to a fresher. Will join the course ASAP sir.
