i love this game and I play it almost every night even if i have most of the latest games like uncharted 3,battlefield 3,mw3, I still prefer this game because it's not linear and you need to adjust your style depending on who your facing.. love it

I just got the game and I don't know if you could do this when you made the vid but instead of buying the locked characters you can unlock them through campion mode, but thanks for all the good advice!

When the game was made 2010 2011 Roy was at his prime and was dominating different weight divisions and EA made him the main focus. The question should be why the hell hasnt any one put David Tua on any boxing game except Knockout Kings 95 bullshit man

Thanks for that: this is EA we are talking about. Of course money will unlock them.
However, the question remains: what is the other way? ie do they unlock by playing champion mode or legacy?
I can only unlock most but not all for some reason...

damn, some of these ratings are bullshit. Lennox and young Foreman both only 85? Foreman 85 compared to Frazier 88 even though Foreman destroyed Frazier? Frazier and Foreman should be at least 90, especially if Ali is 93. De la Hoya 92 compared to Julio Cesar Chavez 90?

Why is Roy Jones Jr. rated higher than Mike Tyson?
It's higher than Tyson because Jones was better....Jones has the same ability as Sugar Ray Robinson...I mean, a fighter like Robinson or Jones, their ability and talent comes around like every 50 years, or something like that....Pound for pound, I would put Robinson number 1....I would put Jones number 1, but Jones didn't do very well once he was over the hill..Robinson, when he was over the hill, still won against quality guys....number 3: Muhammad ali...Tyson didn't beat anyone in the "A" category....The greatest people he beat (legit), ws Larry Holmes and he was old...Michael Spinks was scared and he wouldn't stand up to Tyson....He didn't beat anyone....Life-style outside the ring is what killed his career....Tyson falls apart psychologically when he gets hit regullarey in a fight...Ali would jab him to death...he nevr falls apart....even against the "Monster" George foreman.......I'm kinda an old guy, it was awesome watching Roy Jones' career...The guy was incredible

Unfortunately it is going to look like most game developers and publishers will head toward a "pay for feature" type format. EA charges for everything, from xp boosts, fight formats, boxers, and skills boosts. There is easily well over $200 that you can spend additionally. My suggestion is not to do it.. save your money...
u will get Young George Foreman if you pre-ordered the game

@WWFAttitudeERA21 I don't have an xbox. If xbox has an "online store" where you can buy games or videos, and if you are able to use your microsoft points to buy those vids or online games, then I would think you should be able to use it. But EA and the new games coming out from all game developers will push gamers to "BUY" all the add ons.. Its pretty much a big money drain. Becareful because it can cost a lot..
Can't buy the boxers anymore. I go to fight night store and the page is blank. It keeps loading but nothing shows up. Same for PS store. No extra DLC to purchase for this game. WTF.... How do you get the locked characters and how do you get the fighters from lower class to fight the upper class boxers? The game prevents a unlikely fight between Manny P. vs. Butterbean. LOL

I downloaded the game thru ps3 store but George was still lock.Is just ridiculous that EA lock him Why see him with a lock but u cant used him they (EA) are teasing people with Foreman then to find out the code or the way to unlock him is almost impossible some people say beat all the heavyweight fighters on Fight Now Mode yea right i freaking did that already Do you have to used a particular fighter for example Bishop?

I already paid for the game and it was damn expensive, why should I pay again to get more players, this sets a bad example, that is like selling a basketball game and excluding michael jordan,kobe bryant, and shaquelle o'neal and allen iverson and saying i should go buy the characters, fucking ea sports should put the characters in the game. This game has lots of deficiencies to begin with. Seriously locking young george foreman, patterson, demsey, johnson no jeffries this game SUCKS
I have the game on PS3, but I didn't get it until 2013, and the prices for the boxers and Bare Knuckle Mode are gone. Is there a cheat code to get them unlocked?
If I remember correctly it was a download. It wasn't a cheat code. It's a specific game type that was part of the game.

This is real bull shiP. I will never ever buy another EA game ever. It is one thing to lock them only to have you do things in the game to unlock them, but to have to pay for more stuff on a game you already bought IS JUST WRONG.
