      Desert Eagle Nice Desert Eagle! When are you hoping to come down and escape some of that extremely hot weather up in San Antonio! We are entering the green season here which sees Costa Rica come to life with lush flora and fauna. Occasionally its a little fresher as well! Pura Vida from Costa Rica!

    Great video. We are trying to decide on what beach to go visit. We are going to Arenal Volcano, Beach, Cloud forest. In that order. What beach do you recommend for our first time and with kids?

    • @CostaRicanVacations
      @CostaRicanVacations  3 года назад

      That's a great order in which to do things! After visiting the Arenal Volcano and perhaps the Monteverde Cloudforest if you are traveling out from the San Jose International airport the Manuel Antonio beach/rain forest region is the best option as a beach in Guanacaste will you put you at least 5hrs away from flying home towards the end of your vacation!

    Great video! I'm planning on visiting for a week in the middle of May. ideal place to visit? it'd have to be some where on a beach or near it? And also how much would the cost be roughly?

    • @CostaRicanVacations
      @CostaRicanVacations  9 лет назад +1

      Maria Reynoso Hey Maria!Thanks for getting in touch with us. It's great to hear you are thinking about coming to Costa Rica in May. For first time visit we would always recommend visiting two different locations so you can get some adventure in for a few days around the Arenal volcano before heading to the beach to relax, as you cannot do both these locations from the same place. However as we custom design every vacation we can plan whatever suits you best!The same goes for the cost. We have can put a package together for you from anything from $750 per person upwards depending on what you are looking for in terms of hotels and tours!If you would like to get a free vacation plan made for you so you can see your ideal trip please let us know how best to contact you. Either by email or phone or both and one of our top Travel Planners can get in touch.All the best and we look forward to hearing back from you!Adam@ the CRV Team.1-800-606-1860 ext.1302

    What's a good place to stay at between the volcano and Guanacaste
    Going for the 1st time with my gf and wondering what to do and where to stay

    • @CostaRicanVacations
      @CostaRicanVacations  3 года назад

      Thanks @1chargerz - a stay near the Arenal Volcano for 3 nights mixing in a few tours and a visit to the hot springs is a must! The hotel really depends on your budget and preference as there are many great options from the Nayara Resort, Tabacon to The Springs Resort. Then I would suggest heading to the beach in Guanacaste. If you are looking for a resort experience Andaz is a great option, romantic and secluded. If you are looking for a smaller boutique option on the water then perhaps Capitan Suizo is a good option in Tamarindo.
      Let us know if you need help in planning a trip!

    Great video! Question: I'm planning a spring break trip with my 2 adult kids...my daughter wants to lay on the beach everyday and my son wants to jump off waterfalls as much as he can. Is there a location where I can make sure they're both happy? Thanks in advance for your time!

    • @CostaRicanVacations
      @CostaRicanVacations  6 лет назад +2

      Hey Angela! In a short answer - no not really. Most beach locations will not have waterfalls close by that you can walk to like the beach. However there are day tours from different beach spots that will be able to take you into the more forested areas where you will find waterfalls.
      However, easily the best idea is to first visit the Arenal Volcano where he can do waterfall canyoneering and visit la Fortuna Waterfall and your daughter can relax in the hot springs surrounded by nature before you guys head to the beach! Let us know if you need help in suggesting the best spots for this Angela!
      Thanks - Adam @ The CRV Team.

    I wonder why Limon beach was not on your list. Many have said it is a must visit beach! Just curious.

    • @CostaRicanVacations
      @CostaRicanVacations  6 лет назад +2

      Hey Sam, thanks for getting in touch. Limon is the main port city on the Caribbean side of the country and is not the most developed place for tourism. Nor are the beaches in the immediate area very attractive. However the actual provence of Limon stetches all the way along the Atlantic coast. You will find the lovely spots of Cahuita and Puerto Viejo in the south, which are famed for their lovely Caribbean style beaches with clear water and white sand - ideal for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling!

      Thank you for your reply, much appreciated. I and my friend (4 people) are going to travel next week for about 6 days and we have planned to visit (Puerto Viejo, Jaco, Nauyaca, Manuel Antonio). We are renting a car and hopefully, this would be enough to touch all places. Please let me know if there is a must see/go to place. Also, do you have any advice for car rental? We are booking via Expedia app.

    • @alial1527
      @alial1527 6 лет назад +1

      Thank you for the response! Will take that into consideration as we are planning our trip.

    • @CostaRicanVacations
      @CostaRicanVacations  6 лет назад

      Excellent Sam - sounds like you are just about all set! These are great locations that you mentioned. Only thing with Expedia is that if something goes wrong I am not too sure how helpful they can be. But hopefully everything will be smooth for you guys! There are plenty of good car rentals in the country - but Budget Car Rental offers best value for money though it's very basic. Good luck!

    I thought it was about four hours to get to Tortuguero from San José, three by car and one hour by boat.

    • @CostaRicanVacations
      @CostaRicanVacations  5 лет назад +1

      That's more or less accurate. Flying is a lot quicker if you can!

    • @LuchoCastle_11
      @LuchoCastle_11 5 лет назад

      Depends on the traffic, Route 32 collapses every time a hill collapses on it.

    • @LuchoCastle_11
      @LuchoCastle_11 5 лет назад

      But if I had to put a number I would say 3 and half by car and 1 in boat. That would be on average.

  • @artsveiman7776

    Central Valley-yes. San Jose city - noooooooooo, stay away from that city its one of the ugliest in central America. in fact stay away from most cities, Costa Rica is beautyful because of its country side, jungles and beaches, cities and towns tend to be pretty ugly. Jaco is a cespool, it used to be beautiful then they had to wall it up with casino hotel resorts, if you like beaches that can double as sewers then youll love Jaco, but personally I stay the hell away from it, its crime ridden and the once beautiful beaches are not even a shadow of what they once were. the rest of these spots 100% agreed, they have their issues but otherwise are some of the best reasons to visit Costa Rica, and they did not even mention Chirripo.
