This high-gloss-thingy here is (despite the pieces of fabric tape at the microphone) so aseptic and smoothed out that there is absolutely no soul left in this interpretation of that great song. look, i'm a Music Tech and music student, i record on a weekly basis and i can tell you right now that the vocals are edited beyond belief, it takes away the power and soul that live peformances and less edited songs project, not saying these two aren't talented but with the amount of editing that goes into goots videos it just, for me ruins the songs.

Both died tragically in the same week, different circumstances, one was hit on his bike by a car, the other was killed in a car accident, but it somehow makes me happy to hear his music, it reminds me of them in a way too bc he's covered some of their favorite songs.. Thank you, in a strange way I feel like your music has helped me keep their memory alive, especially the "save tonight" cover.
When I used to work at this restaurant/bar we had a live stage for local bands and amateur nights. During the holidays people would often get pissed at the bar and linger there all night. Eventually the staff got fed up but could not out right do something about it so instead one night we set up the stage and at closing started singing this song in hopes people would get the message. We ended up having an encore and sing-a-long with the drunks for an extra two hours.
