We love Mesa Verde. It is always so cool to walk(climb or crawl 😂😂) where people of the past once walked. Especially races of people who are no longer among us or living in the same style. It's just so cool. That restaurant looked so good. That margarita looked amazing. 😂😂. Chalkboard! That is a lot of food. I hear ya girl!

Would go back again but might have to pass on the food. It was good but too much. Maybe a kids meal.😂

Mesa Verda looked amazing and those cliff dwellings are so cool- we think Joel could maybe do the large one but he said no way on the other ones you did with the ladders straight up the cliff 😂- thanks and Happy Anniversary

I could never take that walking tour. The ladder was bad enough, but then there were several tight space passageways to go through. I’d plug up the passageway, plus I’ve become claustrophobic at my current age of 60.
Not a park for me, thanks for the video tour. Those dwelling cut into the cliff looked great. Imagine how hard that would be to construct. And it was probably all done with hand tools given the age of it.

Happy 31st and hopefully many more. I see y'all found the house I was talking about crawling through the hole. Just think 41 years ago we crawled on the same ground!

Chris couldn’t eat all his food because he had to save room for both of those margaritas…prioritizes! 😉 I can hardly wait for some yummy Tex-Mex! Great video and safe travels!! 😊.

Happy Anniversary!! We love Mesa Verde and have gone there many times and hikes so many trails. Thanks for refreshing the memories. I hated those notched in steps with the chains on the way out.

To me the notched step area with the chains were a little sketchy. Definitely made me a little uneasy.😬

Wow, I can’t believe that a National Park would have a 32’ ladder for visitors to climb !!!
What’s the weight limit on the ladder ? It looked like tree branches rather than dimensional sawmill lumber. Was it actual branches to climb ?
I wonder if anyone has ever fallen from the ladder ?

Happy Anniversary.... Glad you are continuing your travels and enjoying life. Would love to check that place out, but with "shot" knees it appears to be a tough climb. Which btw, is one reason why you should not wait to travel. Till we have some cocktails......Be Safe and Be Well. Hopefully, you can catch the Balloon Festival in NM from 10/1 to 10/9.

Because most marriages 💑 get pushed over a cliff, way before 31 years!
I hope I heard correctly about the anniversary because I was running a tool.

@@oureverydaygetaway I think being married to the same person for 31 years is as perfect and honorable as it gets on this planet!
I'm proud to say the following words about some important people.
If my three pair's of aunts and uncles would ask me tomorrow why I still call them Uncle Bobby, Aunt Gloria and so on down the line.... I would tell them, I feel it's about honoring and respecting their achievements because of their first and only marriages to one person after all these years together. And my parents are going on 63 years of marriage.
These days people have step parents. I had eight parents. And even when I ran away from home at the age of five because my dad was shaking the hair clippers at me.... one of my other parents found me on their street, cruising around on a Schwinn Sting Ray five speed chopper with springer front end and fat tires.
I returned home that evening with 20 cents left in my pocket from my Popsicles survival food supply out on the road!
Thirty-one years is a respectful and honorable thing and I say, "Keep on Trucking with it and flow like the river's",
Freely! Blessings to you and your family!
