In the latest clip, Brittany Renner detailed how her relationship with PJ Washington began. After responding to criticism regarding the six-year age difference between her and Washington, Renner said she initially met Washington through his uncle who was a promoter that regular booked her. The two followed each other on social media before Washington invited her to his college basketball game to make his ex-girlfriend jealous. Although the relationship wasn't romantic, the two talked everyday after that first game and the relationship became more serious. Renner admitted to considering the six-year age gap but felt Washington was different.

I think the issue with the gap is the amount of life experience between the two. Dude is like 19-20 in college while she is in her mid 20s, so the difference in maturity is pretty steep. She even said in the interview that PJ was like her sisters’ age and thought it was wrong only to turn around and call okay once he was drafted
