    Just to paint a bit of context to when guys do this at BUDS. They've already been doing log PT and carrying boats, run a mile and back to chow hall, been wet and sandy in the surf zone, and are still fatigued and sore from doing this the day before, and the day before that, and the day before that.

    1:00 - the fear of heights you have at 30 feet, is the same fear of heights you have at 3,000 feet and 30,000 feet. This cargo net is an excellent equalizer.

    • @christopherwood2796
      @christopherwood2796 2 года назад +8

      ...not necessarily. I'm afraid of heights. Put me at the edge of a three story building and I'm scared. I also skydive. At 10,000 feet you really have no reference for how high you are so it's not as scary

    I did this as part of the basic reconnaissance course back in 2000. I don't remember my time but we did it twice in a row and I finished first. The worst part is after most finished we got PT'd until the rest finished. Some of them never did. I never thought I could get smoked doing jumping jacks. I still felt bad for the guys who had to watch us get smoked because they couldn't get over an obstacle I'm sure they were spent too.

      SWAT training is harder or do you mean SWAT obstacle course is harder?

      TheSwatTeam911 Yeah if you meant swat obstacle course is harder than ok, but if you meant the training you sir are VERY wrong, as seal training last 6 months with gruling pain unlike any other. Your swat training is respectable but is nothing in comparison to seal training your stuff is child's play, but still most cannot do swat so good job anyhow. But you are most certainly wrong.

      I don't know what a swat obstacle course looks like but this shit is long and lools hard as fuck. I have been threw obstacle courses in my military career in the army but this right here is no joke. I would be out of it before i get to the web climbing rope.

    ok now try a british obsatacle course where u have to be in full kit 100lb bergan on ur back and carrying a 105mm mountain gun as well. with just a 6 man team. Thats what my unit had to do every day before breakfast.
    Everyone in my artillery battery went throught the seal training and passed it no trouble. But not 1 seal member got past r training. Most didnt even last a week.
    That was cause a seal team thought we were pussies and challenged us to try their training. We accepted as long as they tried r training.

      Pssh, the only British SF you probably did was in MW2. If your British SF are so great, how come all of America and most of the world sees Navy SEALs as the best?

      Yeah I call bullshit. I met 2 special boat service guys in stone bay aka lejeune's range and home of MARSOC Raiders (they were training with them). All they did was complain about how heavy the packs had to be during all the hikes with MARSOC. And they also complained about they same thing your saying brit branches do. They were mad they had to do a confidence course in full battle load sooo I don't know how well your stories hold up because these dudes were 10x tougher than any old run of the mill unit in her majesties armed forces.....
