      Agreed. I was on a hour long trip and I was in a Thomas Saft-Liner C2. Let me tell you, THE RIDE. My buttox actually hurt getting off that bus. Then I asked my friend how his ride was and BOOM. Perfect. Like that is so anxious. IC for the win.

    I drove an IC bus with air brakes in 2008 in Rome, NY and the buses were great. Steering controls housed the door open and closers, yellow warning lights, red override. But the one thing I loved about the 2007 buses is the light check goes through each light no matter where it is and goes through a continuous cycle. The sequence went from red, yellow, yellow, red, red, yellow, yellow, red. As this went through the cycles, you could see all lights in the back including the backup lights and dim running lights to bright brake lights. In the front you could see the high and low beams switch on and off. Then I drove a Thomas C2 and the light checker was an individual one by one bulb check. It would go all the way around the bus and when it got back to the front again, it honked at you. Now they have a button where they all light up simultaneously. Much easier and user friendly.

    Well, to be honest.. I’m a nine year old kid who has a dream of being a bus driver. I know already about the driving lessons etc.. But I do not know what school bus I will drive (This is only a dream job, I might not be a bus driver.). I sure do like the Saf-T-Liner C2 same with the hybrid Version.
    I would be happy if I could drive a Blue Bird too, but I’d prefer the Saf-T-Liner C2. I do not know what kind of bus I have. But I do know that my bus is a Blue Bird Bus, it has 12 rows, it is very old. Has good heating, emergency exits are fine, BUT, the seats are not comfortable nor, I do not like how small and old my bus is. Well, it is time for me to go to bed, so. G’ day my fellow friends!!

    • @tildenyoung2088
      @tildenyoung2088 3 года назад +1

      Yes it did, because Parked regeneration ensures that the DPF system exhausts properly and air flows properly...if it doesn't it'll clog, and the engine can be damaged...but they more than likely did do the Parked regeneration, it just couldn't flow because of a clog which wasn't fixed by the mechanics...if you ever have any questions or want any PDFs regarding our buses, please don't hesitate to email me at tildenyoung997@gmail.com...Thanks

The maxxforce was a hunk of crap and almost put international out of business it was so bad. I’m glad they got rid of that engine, myself it has almost left me stranded a couple of times. But I love the new RE’s with the L9 Cummins

    Around my area they use to have the first gen ic Ce 200&300 years 2002-2004 when they retired those they tried out the new ic ces and they had nothing but problems making them to Have to get new buses again and they switched to Thomas saf t liner C2 and Bluebird vision propane engine. For the small routes they got Thomas mini tours on Chevy and gmcs body's. If your going to choose a bus choose right get a Thomas or blue bird because Thomas is run by freight liner and ya can't go wrong with one of them. Never get a ic Ce new generation.

      The constantly needing sevicing or break downs have nothing to do with our buses, but as you might already know, your mechanics...the fact that they didn't put expenses into working on these buses and properly replacing the needed items shows that they didn't care...so don't say, they did, because they didn't, if they did, the buses would infact have worked properly and NOT need constant attention...

    • @tildenyoung2088
      @tildenyoung2088 3 года назад

      And we don't make busses that BREAK DOWN...Not only have we been awarded over 20 NHTSA certificates, but we've also had our buses be called by not only school districts but by transportation companies too, as the best buses in the industry...if your bus breaks down...That has NOTHING to do with IC BUS...instead YOUR mechanics...your bus doesn't break down from anything but engine problems...We don't service the engines...We make them...its YOUR mechanics job to take blame for ANY engine problems or failures...you should contact your mechanic and contact NHTSA to get a recall, which will show you the problem laid within the engine that was not serviced, which actually was stated in our partners video, which is this one, instead of it being an US problem... If you wish to contact me, you may email tildenyoung997@gmail.com...Thank You

      Our bus's door systems are made by both SMC and SMI...electric doors and air doors are set to shut when innactivity is shown to the bus's door after 5 minutes...If your bus is off they will stay open, but if the bus is on, the system will read that there is no passengers and with the height control valve being depressed, the doors, will shut...because IC Bus is the best in the industry we made sure we took everything that was reported as bad and flipped that making our buses the best...and unlike other companies, our doors don't drain the battery when they're not shut, instead we made this setting for general safety...and the door system should NOT be fiddled with, instead leave that be...if you wish for them to stay open, turn off your bus...If there's anything else you wonder or need, don't hesitate AT ALL to contact me...My email is tildenyoung997@gmail.com...Thanks

GR8 that the State of Maryland doesn not allow stering wheel controls. I DO NOT LIKE THE CHEAP EXHAUST BRAKE on the IC. ALL of our IC buses use this limp engine brake. It is useless!! only one shift. (THE THOMAS AND FREIGHLINER AND BLUEBIRDS KEEP DOWN SHIFTING FOR A USELFUL ENGINE BRAKE) And all of that dam noise from the cooling fan. The local facility WOLFINGTON Bodyworks,,,,says that the noisy fan assists the engine brake. After use of the exhaust brake and this noisy fan. It stays engaged while trying to accelerate from a stop or going up a hill. When the fan diesngages the bus accelerates. I lose 200 RPM when that DAM fan is on. This is the part of an IC bus I DO NOT LIKE..........
