Maybe for you it would be a good idea to try a capsule wardrobe for each season. That way every 3 months you would have a whole new wardrobe. And when that season comes back around the next year those "old items" will seem new to you.
Oh my gosh I am on my own minimalist journey, and have been the last year. Your videos came up on my “play next” and I just realized from your home tour video that you are the one who bought our rocking chair!!!! 💕💕💕 Small world!!!!
Im cleaning out my closet today. This is the simplicity I crave as a Momma of three. Somedays I'm chained to the washing machine behind mountains of clothes and towels.
FINALLY I found a Catholic woman channel. God bless you and your family forever ✝️❤️🙏🏽. Your clothes are beautiful. Tradicional, femenine 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I also have my Scapular. 🤎
A capsule wardrobe is an ongoing process. With time you change and so will your wardrobe. What works today may not work tomorrow or maybe your tastes or preferences change. It doesn't mean you're doing it wrong or maybe that a smaller wardrobe isn't for you. It's a process.
This was beautiful! Your contentment is so inspiring. And the choices for which items you do have are so lovely. Thank you for taking the time to share. I've been struggling with discontentment and this has helping more than you know
I love this idea. I just don’t know if I could pull it off. I need some kind of work clothes for bleaching my toilets and mopping the floor. Gardening and all. I want this kind of wardrobe. Just don’t know how to start or where. Thanks for sharing.
I completely understand! I have 4 littles so I’m not oblivious to messes and scrubbing toilets! 😅 You should do what fits your lifestyle and work ethics as much as possible. Maybe try to keep two work outfits and rotate them as needed? I have one apron that I use whenever I’m cleaning toilets or wiping up messes to prevent my clothes from getting stained. I’m glad you love the idea. If you want to start somewhere, I would try to stick with 1 or two work outfits and clean them as needed or invest in an apron to prevent staining from bleach.
This is an aspirational capsule wardrobe 👍 I am certainly not at the point of having a capsule wardrobe, but I have simplified a LOT and have curated my wardrobe to be pregnancy and breastfeeding friendly just to keep life easier!
I love this! This is how I dress. But not so minimal, but you've inspired me for sure! Where did you find those t shirts? I look for tshirts cut like that.
This is so beautiful in its simplicity! I wish I knew more about the benefits of simplicity when my children were young. May I ask, if you do laundry daily, especially with little ones, to make this work? And if one of the dresses is specifically for Church, or special occasions?
@@claireroberts800 I do one load of laundry daily! Some days I don’t even need to do any because we don’t have a lot of clothes to wash. Unless something stinks or is muddy, we rewear clothes several times before washing! I don’t have a special occasion dress for confession or anything. I will usually tuck my shirt into my skirt, as it looks nicer, and wear my sandals or flats. :) It’s good to remember that Our Lord doesn’t necessarily mind the specialty of an outfit, moreover just to have it modest and respectful!
I wore my scapular outside of my wedding dress, I just covered its brown parts with lace puntilla to match the ivory of the dress. The image of Holy Mary in the center was like specially framed with all the lace around. It might not be for everyone, but it was anyway Our Lady of Mount Carmel day.
Idk how people do it! I get bored so fast! Respect.

It never occurred to me to just wear a scapular on the outside of my clothes….🤯
