Your videos are amazing! Ive been slowly watching all of them the past few days. i find avocado and lemon make a good "dressing" for salad, if you stir the avocado around it thins out and becomes dressing like. I think im going to start taking this approach to my meals, i just need to get my husband on board.
Homemade dressings are the absolute best! If you're ever looking for something new try this one out. It's so good. Greek salad dressing 2/3 cups olive oil 1/4 red wine vinegar 4-6 minced cloves of garlic 2 T oregano 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper
Great advice. I love the fact you mention read the labels. I watch another channel with Bobby Parrish FlavCity. He breaks down the labels and hits different grocery stores to show what to buy & what to avoid. Love your channel!
Big fan of your videos! I'd love to learn more about how you calculate your macros. It's hard to find information out there for calculating macros for a recreational CF athlete.
@@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell THANK YOU i needed to see this because i was doing more protein an less veg an very little carbs, tomato sauce well it was my go to,what you said about ketchup omg sugar my enemy all so im in my 50s an i hate my daddy belly lol i do F45, 5 days a week plus i power walk after dinner like , 6 days a week i will change the way i eat now, im 108 kg, 5/9 in height can you tell how many grams of beef, chicken,an fish should i have please many thanks for your time.
Yet another great video! Thank you. I am a hard gainer and struggle getting enough healthy calories and the way you breakdown the portions makes so much sense. I just started (again) to try to track my meals and calories using MyFitnessPal. It's very overwhelming trying to eat more food than normal, but I am trying to do it the healthy way. I really enjoy the videos, keep up the great work!
Hi Kristi! Great educational video. Thank you so much for this information. Can you make a video where you give different examples of good sources of fat and carbs? Thank you :)
I love this approach! def makes a lot of sense, ive mostly worked on decreased my carbs intake and rely more on my vegs and fats as energy. Thought it was interesting you mentioned veggies being more than your protein I am always thinking protein first but it makes a lot of sense!
Love the content Kristi! When do you typically eat in the day? As in how long after you wake up, how long before you sleep and how long before and after you workout.
Awesome info, so simple and we complicate the crap out of it. I like the container marked on the bottom, that's an awesome idea. I'd like to see more on macros, Thanks for doing these types of videos!
I don't know. I love eating too much. I've been keto for a few months but was still able to eat "to much" I mean I was working out so I put on muscle as well What I'm trying to say is that I really want to achieve this extra leanness but my eating is too much of a mess right now I'm really looking forward to some more helpful tips. Keep it up :)
I try to ball park if I can otherwise I dont worry about loading in my app and jsut try to make good decisions based off what my meals normally look like at home
thats a nice explanation of the make up of a single meal , but when your training how many meals per day do you eat ? , also do you take any suppliments . btw the tune in the opening is very cool , would be great to run too :) what is it ?
Kristi Eramo Oh! Well I’ve been vegan for over two years and haven’t experienced any problems with consuming legumes. Should I worry or does it only affect some people?
Hi Kristi. I'm a really big fan and supporter of yours!!!! I was just hoping you could offer a few words of advice because I recently found a pretty big wood log to use for exercise, and thought maybe to try: Shoulder Carries for distance, alternating shoulder presses, and "bear hug" squats with the log. I'm not an expert on fitness, but if you have a moment I could really use your encouragement. You're such a great motivational speaker......
Yes I do believe so. When I increase training around certain competitions I will increase my carb intake and lower my fats. That is not sustainable for me to maintain all year round or good for hormones do I make sure to only do it for a few weeks at a time when prepping for comp to make sure I am fueled appropriately

This was the most useful nutrition video I have watched in a long time. Thank you so much.

great content for starting out 👌🏽
Thank you very much!
This is great thank you! How do you handle cravings? Any snack you recommend to work around cravings?
Only a handful and then walk away!
Thanks Chef! 🤗
So simple, so good!

Yes! And its always good to switch it up if you've been doing the same for a while!
You a beta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES I LOVE THIS! THANKYOU SO MUCH IT REALLY HELPS
That is awesome to hear!!
Love the content Kristi! When do you typically eat in the day? As in how long after you wake up, how long before you sleep and how long before and after you workout.
Wake up, something small to eat, train then much bigger for my second breakfast.
Such a good video!
Glad you liked it!!
I need to learn this now.
It has helped me so much!
@@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell I just started with the whole meal prep. So baby steps for me.
Great video, what are your thoughts on salt and milk products?
For some, milk is great! But the inflammation it brings is not always the best!
Awesome info, so simple and we complicate the crap out of it. I like the container marked on the bottom, that's an awesome idea.
I'd like to see more on macros, Thanks for doing these types of videos!
You got it!! Will put it on the list.
Why are peanuts a 'no no'!? Either way thank you for all your great content all the way from the UK.

Awesome! Start with these portions control helpers!
Great video! Just curious about why you avoid peanuts? :)
They are legumes. Just have a lot of inflammation with them!
So helpful!! Thanks!! I’d actually pay extra to see a daily sample of your food intake (and grocery list?). Lol
Wow! So glad you are enjoying it!
I prefer to count macros for my own sanity but should this be implemented on off days/nights out/or when a scale is not available?
I try to ball park if I can otherwise I dont worry about loading in my app and jsut try to make good decisions based off what my meals normally look like at home
The way I combat overeating is to use smaller cooking equipment . and small bowls rather than big plates.
That is an awesome ideal!
Your favorite recipes please!
Will do!
I really like to season meals with lemon, garlic and olive oil! A source of fat I love is peanuts!
Yes indeed!!! Love some garlic!
You mention to stay away from peanuts. What about natural peanut butter..do you count that as fat or protein?
That would be fat! And I stay away since it is a inflammatory for me. But others might not have that problem!
Thank you :)
You are welcome!!
How many calories , macros was that meal.. not sure if I missed it.. I can eat clean but need clean while I'm burning 3k to 4k calories a day
That meal is about 500!
thats a nice explanation of the make up of a single meal , but when your training how many meals per day do you eat ? , also do you take any suppliments . btw the tune in the opening is very cool , would be great to run too :) what is it ?
Hi. 3 of these meals and 2-3 snacks!
Just curious, why do you avoid peanuts?😊 Helpful video!
They are legumes, so they tend to promote inflammation.
Kristi Eramo Oh! Well I’ve been vegan for over two years and haven’t experienced any problems with consuming legumes. Should I worry or does it only affect some people?
It varies per person! They may not bother you!
You are so amazing,
Thanks for watching!
Your size look normal! In the Gym your muscle blow up!!
Yes, lots of weights!
Do you limit the protein to lean sources only?
During the week I generally do!
Nice
Glad you liked it!
Why are peanuts bad ?
They are legumes so just have some inflammation!

Those all sound good to me! Burpee ground to overhead!
Should have watched this before having chicken tortilla soup for lunch 🤦🏾♂️
Thats funny!
Could I swap fruits for veggies? I eat a lot of fruits but not many veggies
Fruits are great but veggies are better ;) . You should have veggies at every single meal :)
👨🍳
Chef!
Awesome!! DO you have cheat meals or cheat days? How necessary to have cheat meals or cheat days?
Thanks!! :D
Yes of course! But only a meal on Saturdays!
👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
Do you think professional athletes like yourself can get away with higher carbs than the normal person who works out 5 times a week?
Yes I do believe so. When I increase training around certain competitions I will increase my carb intake and lower my fats. That is not sustainable for me to maintain all year round or good for hormones do I make sure to only do it for a few weeks at a time when prepping for comp to make sure I am fueled appropriately
intro so loud ever time D;
Thanks for the feedback! Same one for 3 months, will change it soon.
Veggies is a new Macro? More Nutrition confusion......
Once you get it down it will be so easy!
