Yes, vegetarians can definitely survive. All the hotels in Lakshadeep are run by Lakshadweep Govt, and all of them are very good.

How did you obtain the travel permit? Could you please explain the steps? Thanks!
Just get your room reservations through the Govt tourism email id, and they will also issue you the permit.
No need to do anything else or contact a travel agent for permits.

Very nice and informative video. Just want to know is Bangaram better or Thinnakara. Given a choice where should one stay. If I have 05 nights to spend where would you recommend me to stay.

Bangaram has better huts with AC and a better cafeteria. However, next year, I came to know that Thinnakara also upgraded to similar tents. You may check out with the Tourism Dept on the latest quality of tents in Thinnakara. Another advantage... Alcohol is served in Bangaram. But if you need a complete beach for yourself, sleep and relax on the beach and need peace, then Thinnakara is the place to go.
If you have five days with you, I will safely advise you for 2-3 days in Thinnakara and the remaining days in Bangaram.

Very well made and informative video. Just needed a few answers: Which month of the year did you visit? How did you travel flight/ship? Do we need to prebook the water activities? How many people can accommodate in the Sailing boat? Is drinking water available throughout? Are all payments in cash? Dis you go to Parali islands? Your information will be really helpful to plan the trip for my family.

Let me answer all your questions:
1) I visited in March. The best timing is Nov- March.
2) I took a flight from Delhi to Kochi and then to Agathi.
3) There is no need to book water activities in advance. You can inform the hotel guys a day in advance.
4) 4-5 people can accommodate in the sailing boat.
5) Drinking water is available everywhere.
6) Hotel payment is in advance. The payments for food & activities were in cash. Please check the present status. PayTM or UPI payments may have started now.
7) I have not visited Parali islands

I have directly booked through Govt Tourism Website: www.lakshadweeptourism.com, where you can get all the hotel facilities & tariff information. You can also email them at laksports.reservation@gmail.com or call their office at +91 04842355387 / 2355789. They are pretty prompt in reply.
In Lakshadweep, only this Govt website can book hotels and issue permits. All the travel agents coordinate the booking through this website only.
