@kuma9239 I want to resolve brilliant fusion with my abc deck one more time. One more time playing metalfoes itbwas so good and cheap. 2016 was peak tbh 2017 was fine too
It wasn't really. Just that the non engine in those days was stuff like twin twisters, raigeki, and generic trap cards. It wasn't uncommon to see a ba deck with half or more non engine. Satellarknight had like 15 engine cards, couldn't play more if they wanted. ABC was at around 18-19. Bujin had around 20 slots. Yosenju had about 20 as well. Obviously, there were engine heavy decks as well, like shaddoll, nekroz, and pendulums, but most decks could easily fit 15 back then without breaking a sweat.
If anything, higher engine counts is a symptom of duelist alliance onward yugioh. Before then, even all in combo decks like infernity and wind up could fit 15 or so non engine.
Today i made a Ritual Beast deck in MD, was really excited to learn a new challenging deck... then infound the 4:30 hour video that teaches the combo lines, and im in hour 2, regretting my whole lifes decisions
Southern California regionals are normally 500-800 people. Northern California I believe are 200-300. 300 people is considered very low. They might have capped it due since over 300 people would require them to rent out another ballroom.
@noahleach7690 300 is the exact capacity amount for one of the ballroom in Anaheim convention center. Seems too convenient of a coincidence. Back in 2009 I attended one, they had to hold the start time to get approval to rent a room since it exceeded that number.
@@VanFactor Yh I just saw some videos talking about shrinking attendance to local and national events, thought this might have been an indication, oops

The thing about Shifter with things like 3 Effect Veiler, its kinda clunky with Shifter. There isnt much past Cross Outs or Dominus Purge? You also have to slim down the deck to have a smaller combo to cut down on the one of's which has its own trade offs
The deck is NOT weak against Purulia, there are combos that give 0 purulia draw. Against fuwalos it's not amazing but not that bad, searching steeds and having a lara protection that floats into winda is enough to survive against most deck that's not tenpai, bagooska is also an option. If you draw your own Fuwalos you could do Cannahawk chain Fuwalos instead. Then Obviously post side you also have more pseudo outs like D Fissure.

If you think about the yubel or snake eyes deck, the concept is literally the same. Both of them going uninterrupted will make a board with negates and disruptions that basically floodgates you from playing. Ritual beast just makes it simpler, and without the floodgates the deck runs it's still alright with an omni negate, a non target pop and a banish
They are basically saying Yubel/snake eyes play through handtraps as if its nothing and still puts up a unbreakable board that you cant break because you lost card advantage. Assuming if you dont uave charmy. Not hard to understand what they are going after lol@@Luminos974
