Best motor for a young enthusiast in my opinion. Easy/cheap to work on, reliable as all hell, and "enough" power to have safe fun.

@@kaycertifiedteslas are heavy as shit tho. They get outperformed routinely by wrxs and civic si. Seen it laguna seca and have seen the times tables at nurburgring
This is rad! I own a 99 ek coupe with a D series engine. Its got Suzuki Vitara pistons / I beam rods and a custom turbo kit 😄 If you are trying to make some good power for cheap its such a good setup and so fun to drive. Are you running the short gear ratio transmission? If not it might help those lap times out. Also are you guys allowed to run high compression pistons? What are the limitations in this Cup?

Most of the field was stock-ish in Round 1. But I know of a few competitors in Round 2 (October 22) who have really come out with built setups. Yes all modifications are allowed, the rules are quite lax at the moment having just a limited and unlimited class - but we will have a new format going into 2024.

Hey mate! Decent adjustable suspension and a bucket seat is where I would start! The rest will follow. Go back a few videos I recommend a few upgrades on the civic for handling and ergonomics 😁
