Plasma Cutter: amzn.to/40etrSz This plasma cutter cut some pretty thick steel! Gonna come in handy for future projects! As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Great machine! I bought 100A pilot arc plasma and yes although it is not cheap it cut through 35mm without trouble but it is 3 phase 380V and it is too big for my hobby workshop and to heavy more than 40kg. I bought it because it is 60% at 100A and 100% at 75A and I want to put it on my CNC but it is not so portable and I need to make cart for it.
I may have to look into it. I used to have a Hypertherm 30XP. Sold it and wanna get another one. That one is out of my budget though so it has to be something cheaper lol.
I just ordered one, but it looks like your touching your tip to the metal, some machines if you ground the tip, it automatically drops the amps down to a lower amperage, so you may get even better results, holding your tip off the metal.
I touched the tip to the metal sometimes, and sometimes I didn't. Didn't seem to make a difference. I try to "hover" the best I can when I cut. A lot of these cutters have a "drag tip", but they tell you to not touch the tip to the metal. It doesn't make sense.

I have the Bestarc 50A and 65A units and I love em.
The 65A on 240v is a Beast!
Nice! I like the 50 Amp one it's been cutting pretty well.

Says it's $200 on Amazon. How good can it actually be? Seems like it won't last long. I'd love to see a long term test
Cutting good for me.

Gantastic..just bought this one
Advanced cutting technology👍
I just bought this. Will try it out later this week or next. Have you tried their BestArc welder?
Yes I have a review coming out on it.
Now I want one.
I love my Bestarc plasma cutter. 🙂
This one was the best I've reviewed so far.
It cut the 3/8 steel plate with no problem. That's all I needed it to do lol@@MattsShop
🥰
I was holding my breath on the 3/4 inch cut 🤣
It did it!
Would you go with this one over the tooliom?
This one was the best one I reviewed so far. Other ones had a little more power, but this was more refined.
@@MattsShop Thank you!
