The reason why they have that special toilet paper is because it breaks down properly for the toilet on the airplane to flush it out properly. Tissues do not break down the same way and causes back ups and issues further down the line.
Hopefully nobody is going to use the tissues and put them in the garbage either though...gross! Just deal with the thin paper...it's not like you will be on the plane forever!

Part of growing up is to learn to THINK. Ask 'Why?' so you don't destroy things. People with septic tanks have to use thinner paper also. RVs must use the thin paper. When you go camping you should use the disintegrating paper. And of course.....airplanes. No matter what toilet you're using, NEVER flush wipes even if they say flushable. NEVER!!! Also, garbage disposals - never put anything in a garbage disposal that you wouldn't put in your body. NOT EVEN LEMON PEELS, which a ton of people do because they think it makes their disposal smell better. There are little things like that are made specifically for disposals. Please try not to be selfish in this life. Sometimes you will be uncomfortable. You don't get to do whatever you want to be comfortable all the time. Please be aware of yourself & your behaviors.
And also, this is mostly for the girls, but make sure to put your finger on the mirror just in case there’s nobody watching you also check for any phones or humans people because there was a lot of cases of people seeing younger kids and older women and stuff like that, being undressed, or using the bathroom like make sure to check in the toilet to check under the sink stuff like that and specially in the mirror stay safe out there. It’s a hard world.
Sum other tips for travelling whit planes/airport hacks 1.put on some comey Chiles and have on a t-shirt 2. Bring Snacks cuz airplane/airport can be really exspensive😅 3. Do not forget head phone 4. Bring sanitary wipes 5.also bring a waterbottle (empty) 6.keep ur shoes on, I made the mistake of taking mine off and I stepped in a man's coffie mess.
The toilet paper is supposed to degrade easily, because if not, it would clog the aircraft plumbing system. I have to buy the same specifically designed toilet paper for our RV, and it’s actually much more expensive, but unclogging an RV would be a nightmare, and I can imagine that unclogging a plane would be, sooo stinky if mid flight, and very expensive too. As a flight attendant I don't like the tissues idea...people don't wash their hands before they wipe so imagine getting feces on an item that people use for their nose. Bad idea.
You do know that most toilets even those on land, aren’t made for paper towels? You will most likely clog the drains which will make you highly unpopular on that airplane. Toilet paper is designed to fall apart. Just layer it a bit and you’re fine

There's a vacuum type toilet in airplanes, and the toilet paper is a vacuum type suitable, you can block a toilet with a regular tissues.
