My LAST Week ON CALL - Multiple EMERGENCIES

- I can't believe it, but I just completed my 12th and final week on call as an interventional radiology fellow!!! I will no longer have to take these brutal weeks on call. I will have to take call in my job, but it won't be near as bad as this is! We treat a lot of complex patients in fellowship and a lot of the patients are extremely sick. This means we get called in a lot more so than smaller hospitals. Hope you all enjoy the last and final call week vlog and all of the views of NYC along the way!

Such a beautiful day in NY. Makes me miss NYC even more.
It definitely has unbeatable views
@@DrCellini Hey Dr. Cellini I was watching your old videos on "How I Memorized EVERYTHING for med school" And I wanted to ask you if you could upload or email a copy of your old pdfs so I can use it as a reference when creating my own. It would save a lot of time as you know being short on time is a huge problem now a days lol. Thanks.
Home sweet home how I miss the city. Upstate NY isn't the same
Congrats man! Been following your channel for some time and it's amazing to witness your progression as a RUclipsr and Medical Professional. Stoked to see what your new job and future has in store for you 👌
Thanks so much for the kind words! And thanks for sticking with me all this time! Waaaay more to come in the future...
Thank you for all you do! As someone with Stage IV cancer, I’ve dealt with my Interventional Radiologist a lot and y’all are so integral to our treatment.
I enjoyed this one! I’m a surgeon and finished my fellowship last year. I clearly remember the anti- climactic feeling when I finished my last case and rounds and driving back home. We are currently in lockdown, obviously all elective cases are suspended and I can’t believe I’m saying this- I miss (almost!) being a fellow and being the primary ‘ runner’ of an entire department. Congrats on finishing your training 👏🏼 and looking forward to seeing your journey as an attending.
Congratulations. You must be ecstatic.
Words can’t describe how happy I am! #sleep
@@DrCellini enjoy. You have worked so hard for this moment.
Congratu-freaking-lations on finishing your IR fellowship Dr. Cellini!!! I’m relatively new to the channel and you are such a motivator who always has a positive outlook! I wish to be half the doctor you are 🙏🏼
Hello Dr. Cellini!! I'm so proud of you for finally reaching this major milestone in your medical career
Ahh best of luck! I low key loved orgo!
Yeah! Thanks for giving the anesthesia department kudos! We get forgotten a lot and our job is critical! Congrats! Sweet ending to a great education! I am excited to see where the future takes you both!
Yay your last week long on call there!🥳🥳Awesome view there! Thanks for sharing with us👏👏
congrats doctor!!! been here since the day you've started your fellowship!! congratulations!
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is starting Med school in July I got wayyyyy too excited about the MAA and Y90 procedure! Love your content!👏🏾👏🏾
Wouldn’t that be “possible future NMT”? Isn’t it like a Law Student saying “as a Lawyer who is starting Law School”...? 😛
@@Len_M. No sir, it’s a different field. I currently work in radiology and perform images. I am not a physician. I am going to school to become one.
@@katford8422 Ma’am? Len, not Lynn. I don’t know any Females named Leonard, which Len is short for.
@@Len_M. I changed it. I apologize for the mistake. I’ve seen your name/nickname spelled different ways for different genders.
Congratulations on completing this next step.
Just found your channel today and I was watching some of your old videos hoping you upload a new one soon! I’m so lucky! ☺️
Every single week !!
Confirm the old intro music was epic
Congrats Dr. C, that’s awesome you’re finished! Good luck in your new job you must be stoked!
I was an IR tech at a major university hospital my first weekend of call I made 13 trips in. And I was lucky I had the best fellow, he would for the most part do his on room set ups while I was filming and billing.
Congrats Dr. Cellini!
Thanks!
As always, I am fascinated with your videos and line of work. My work is completely different. But anyway, great video!
Congratulations! Wish you all the best!
This probably relates a bit more to your wife, but I'm in my 2nd year of PA school and I just started my general surgery rotation. Such a cool experience. Great channel! Congrats on the new Job!
Congratulations! I'm excited for you and hope you'll continue vlogging your journey through your medical career!
I will of course keep it going!!
Really enjoying your content thanks for sharing your work with us!
I love that you enjoy it. I’m not stopping anytime soon 😎
Congrats Doc. I just had an IR procedure yesterday to have abdominal drain replaced after my dog pulled out my other one by accident while I was sleeping. Have an abdominal abcess caused my my Crohn’s disease. You ZiR docs have some amazing skills
aw thanks! Sorry to hear about your dog pulling your drain out!
Hey Dr. really happy for. Could feel how happy you are in this video! Hope the best for your future man. Keep up the great work and those cool videos.

Fr fr you're the man Dr. Cellini!!!!
I'm in the hospital now with chronic pancreatitis. I've been on npo for 5 days starting to loose my mind. The 3rd time in 4 months.
Very sorry to hear this! I know you are miserable. Get better soon!
Congratulations! 🍾
Congrats on surviving call. Thanks for another great video
Awesome! Gotta love those Central Park views. :)
Congratulations
Early gang! Congrats, doctor! You’re an inspiration to me as a non-trad!
You can do it ! I used to be an Immigrant McDonalds worker and now a 2nd year ER resident !
Me too as a non trad student dr c gives me hope I can get into med school one day
Aamir Razak you got this!
FacundoMD thank you! That’s wonderful!
@@XxKiDCuDiFTWxX thanks man! Best of luck w the rest of ER residency, you’ve got a really inspiring story!
Did you had to go back? Lol hopefully not! 🤞🏼 Love the transitions of this video. Noted the difference in editing since you’ve been in NY. I can’t blame you, the views are breath taking!
I did not have to go back! And thanks! Try to make it more cinematic so it's not just my boring face all the time lol
Please, make a video about the difference between IR & neuro interventional radiology
Congratulations!!! Does this mean you don't have to do on-call at all anymore?
Congratulations. Get it Stud
Yay! Your last week on call!!!
Yaaaaaaaaaay!
**nonchalantly walking past Gracie Mansion** "Yeah, we're just going to the park"
Congrats! One 💘
Amazing congrats!
Love from an Indian medical student 🇮🇳🇮🇳
Production level went up I see😎😎
Congrats Dr. Cellini
Congrats man! I didn't know you could use glue to stop bleeds. I thought it was electrical cauterization?
Dr. Cellini, I am a doctor like you and I chose this field to save life of alot of people who are really weak and need help. Palestinian are under attack right now. Please help them ❤
Congratss Doc! Something cool i'm starting med school next September inchallah hopefully and I've always thought about neuro and general surgery but after watching ur videos IR look so cool ik it's to early but yeah hahahaha ig i'll add it to my options.
I volunteer at the Mt Sinai Hospital between 5th and Madison. Maybe one day ill see you in the lobby lol !
Hi Dr. Cellini, for some of the procedures, I think you mentioned you did a GI bleed, I would love it if you explain exactly what you do for those cases.
I am watching from Philippines 🇵🇭
Love the vid Dr. Cellini.
Question: what website/app/program do you use to watch/follow the stock market?
I trade with fidelity pro trader. I am more of a swing trader, and I think the fidelity platform is a bit too slow for day trading. I like Webull for trading!
good rest
Awesome!
So now that you are done with your fellowship, you open a practice of your own (or join an existing one?
Hey Dr. Cellini, I hope you can read this and respond but as an x-ray student about to graduate on the 13th, O was wondering if you could do a video of a day in the life of an X-ray tech or things you hate seeing xray techs do on images. Thanks😁
I'm clapping for you
How many weeks of call is typical for IR fellowship? Is it dependent upon the number of fellows or being an integrated vs independent program?
You should get a small micro apartment to visit back in New York
Hey Dr Cellini do you take your lead with you to your new job or will they order you new lead?
Thank you for this video 🥺💜
I’m actually gonna be starting classes tomorrow 🥺
Best of luck!
@@DrCellini u are such a great guy and very interesting

I can relate your oncall
Congratss
Hey Dr. Cellini, I want to be a radiologist too and I was wondering if you had any tips for undergraduate and med school
I'm applying to med school this cycle. If I want to be a radiologist, what steps can I take to maximize my chances of being matched into radiology?
Wish I could work as Scrub nurse with you.
Are you done with fellowship dr
Hey Dr Celllini! What kind of car did you end up buying?
What are the (if any) long term effects of wearing lead so often...also, do you have experience with brain tumors? I met with my neuro today and he said,” Hmmmm, nobody read your case yet..”....I almost said, “I know somebody who will!” Lol
Did the patient bleed during the night??
No on call at the new job?
Congratulations! I can only imagine that it must be the best feeling!
RUclips's messing with my notifications again!
they better not!!
Are you an working as intervention doctor? I am a IR nurse.
Nice! Now just sit back and wait for AI to take over most of your work!
Dude, your eyes are so glassy and under them look like you've been awake for 48 hours straight.
I like your new profile pic 😊 Lovely video

Dr Cellin advice me
I just don’t understand how hard it was, I’ll try to pay attention and understand.
I like your hair a little looser. I how your wife likes it too.
When you no longer have to do calls, will your future cases be able to be scheduled?
HHHMMM, sure we'll keep our fingers crossed for you , that the bleed doesn't happen , but , how bout the patient , may be more of an inconvenience for them.
Patient may bleed again but lets keep our fingers crossed for you 🙄
Can male radiologist have children?
You look very tired 😣
I thought lifestyle of an interventional radiologist was not stressful. Looks like you’re on call a lot

You should do a video on Cryptocurrancy! To the MOOOOOOOOOONN
