You guys nailed it, absolute top class comparison in an extremely innovative way. Am Indian Australian who will be travelling Japan soon. And you have calmed my nerves as I am banking on WISE debit card.
I believe the info on ING card is wrong. The 5 purchases to meet eligibility need to be settled not pending whether made in Australia or OVERSEAS! Another example of misleading info. On the Wise card, yes you can lock in a rate of exchange However if the exchange rate moves against you by the time you are overseas, you lock in that poor rate! So you better make sure you play the forex game well😅
We've been 5 months overseas this time around and ING reinburses our transaction fees on every occasion. (currently in Peru) Heads up, when in the USA pay with a CC and tip with cash. Restraunt staff taff will really appreciate that.
Great video! Thank you, was super helpful
I am with HSBC first transaction abroad and they stopped my card. 10 days later still not fixed.

What Travel card would you suggest for 14 and 17 on a 3 week school choir trip to Europe?
How good are the travel cards that Australia post retails??????
Using HSBC in Japan the ATM will charge you ATM fees. Don’t know about the others.
Best card for FX is Revolut. Wise a close second. Forget the other cards, they’re nowhere near the mark

Wise 👍🏽
Also Macquarie Bank Debit is great for Aus & Europe. But did not work at all in Vietnam (pos or atm)
