Love all of your WIPS - Holly Hobby is so darn cute and adorable. Love this. You are making great progress on all of your WIPS.
Take Care & Happy Stitching
❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️
She's a cutie! Thank you so much! 🥰 Happy stitching to you!
I have 4 of the Brooke's Books made into pillows so far. Love them. Thanks for taking the time to video Bergen . I really enjoyed it.
Love your finish and your progress on your wips. Thanks for taking us on a Bergen tour, looks like a pretty city. Happy stitching!
The e Painted Ladies are looking great. And thank you for the look around Bergen. I have loved the city every time I have visited. Lots of yarn shops, good museums, and great places to dock. Thanks!
Thanks, it's fun seeing how the buildings emerge. You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it, even after being there 😊
Enjoyed your video, lovely to see around Bergen. Holly Hobby is so cute and your projects coming along nicely. 🌼🌺
Thank you! Glad you liked the tour 😊
Thanks! Really enjoyed seeing all your wips, etc! Glad your daughter is ok… phew! I loved seeing Bergen! Norway is definitely on our bucket list.
Would love to see areas around where you live. The photos you’ve shown are stunning! 😊
Thank you! Yes, so glad she was find through the ordeal! It's a great place to visit, and they have a huge famous fish market in summer. I'll have to get out more and take some videos!
Ahh what an experience that had to be when your daughter happily had beads up her nose 😱😂😭🤯 I also thoroughly enjoyed the Bergen footage (but you probably already knew I’d flip over seeing the scenery there 😊🤩) Yay for your temp tree finish!! It’s soo pretty ❤❤❤
An experience indeed! 😅 Of course, just trying to lure you over here 😂 thanks so much! 🥰
@@stitchingmoon 😂😂😂 I will make it over there one day. It’s top of my travel list that isn’t the US 🥰
That Holly Hobby is so cute! I remember my sister having a quilt made with Holly Hobby fabric
Thanks! She's a cutie!
Your temperature tree turned out so nice. I really like the idea of the white stitch in the middle for snow!
Thank you! 😊
San Fran is looking amazing! I had so much fun having a little look around Norway. I've always wanted to visit! Maybe someday! 💖
Thank you! Glad you liked it, hope you can make it someday! 😊
Great video! I really enjoyed seeing a bit of Norway! Thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you, and glad you liked it! 😊
Thank you so much for the peeks into Norway! Everything looks so beautiful! I laughed at the bead up the nose story. Not at your daughter - I'm glad she's ok. But it made me think of taking my son to the pediatrician for a well check when he was 3 and the doctor found a bead in his nose and we have no idea how long it was there. Luckily we taught him to blow his nose and he blew it out! 😂. All of your projects are looking amazing!
Oh my goodness that is funny after the fact! 😆 Oh kids... Thank you, glad you liked the tour!
So glad the bead mysteriously disappeared 😂. Your temp tree turned out beautiful and I love your new patterns! I will have to check them out. Happy stitching!
Haha I know, sigh of relief! Thank you, glad you like them! 😊
Your cross stitch projects are beautiful. Norway is on my husband and I "oh I wish" list. 😁 Hello from Florida
Thank you! I hope you can get here someday. We actually moved from Florida and really miss it - especially in winter!
Your Holly Hobby makes me very nostalgic for my childhood/mom.
Aww, she's fun to stitch!
I am so behind on FT, but I am happy I was able to catch up on what you are currently stitching!
Your focus piece is coming along nicely, and I love San Fran!
Glad your daughter was ok!
Thanks for the tour!
Take Care!😊
Oh so am I! 🙈 Thank you! 🥰
Bergen looks beautiful! sounds like you had a wonderful trip
Thank you! 😊
Great video. I love the Villa Lorna design you've created from your own photograph. I'm not much of a full-coverage stitcher, but knowing it has so few colors (though it looks like it has more) means less confetti so that's great to know and definitely worth considering. Loved the tour of Bergen at the end. --Deb
Thank you so much! That means a lot that a non-full coverage stitcher would consider it 😊 It does go quickly, especially with half cross. And I go through the patterns to remove unnecessary ninja stitches 😁
Anna hasn't done anything like that yet *fingers crossed* what a nightmare!
Thank for the shout-out! X
You're welcome! 😊 Whew, you might be in the clear!
Hi Meghan! Congrats on finishing Temperature Tree and keeping up on it all year long. Love Queen of Silk, beautiful stitching on this wonderful piece. Great progress on San Fran. The buildings are really starting to take shape and look great. Great progress on Holly Hobbie. Cashmere Camel is so cute with her long eyelashes. I have the worst time getting lazy daisy stitches to stay open but watched a tutorial and think I know what I was doing wrong but haven't had a chance to try it as none of my WIPs have called for them. Fearless creeps me out because I hate spiders since I am quite allergic to spider bites and they seem to love me. One good thing about moving to Texas, not nearly as many spiders as there were in Michigan although I think there are more poisonous ones than in Michigan, which I luckily have not encountered. Oh my gosh, so sorry about the incident with your daughter. I just know Walter is going to do something like that since he is at the picking his nose phase or else he is going to swallow something he shouldn't since everything he finds on the ground goes directly to his mouth. I am always catching him with something in there and have to watch him like a hawk. Hopefully he will outgrow that and the temper tantrum phase soon but doubt it since his second birthday is this Sunday so just entering into the terrible 2s and he is entering it with full force. He is lucky I love him so much since this grandma is getting too old to be constantly chasing after him LOL! Thanks for the tour around Bergen. Everything looks so clean with no litter around. I bet it is absolutely gorgeous in the spring, summer, and fall or even in the winter with fresh snow. Hope you have a wonderful stitchy couple of weeks until you film again.
Thank you! Yes, it was definitely hard to get some of the lazy daisys to lay right! This was my only project so far with them in it. Oh I don't blame you about the spiders, definitely not for everyone! Yeah, it's so hard keeping track of everything the little ones get up to! We have to keep talking about how we don't play with wires now 🙈 Glad you liked the tour! It certainly is a clean city with lots of character. They don't often get snow, at least not that sticks long since it's so rainy. Happy Stitching!
I just did Pete the Polar Bear, working on the mouse. Making mine as separate ornaments, but love what you’ve done!
Aww he´s the cutest! Ornaments would be so cute, too!
Husfliden shops used to have some cross-stitch kits and in Bergen Bryggen there was a shop that had quite lot cross-stitch stuff. It is quite long since I visited there so maybe it has changed. There was also one shop that was only tapestry and cross-stitch shop in Trondheim and Bergen but I don't know if those exicst anymore. But I would love to see any craft shop and those Husfliden shops had so beautiful hand-crafted items and bunader that those were a joy to visit even though I hadn't afford to buy anything 😂
Ohh I think I know what you mean. They do still have a bunad shop that has some material I think, and for sure a lot of knitting supplies in the area. Haha yes, super pricey, but beautiful!
Thank you awesome tour
Glad you liked it! Even with the background noise 😁
Hi there. Most backstitching from 30 years ago was all in 3371. I am choosing my own colours for the backstitch now and don’t always do every line marked on the pattern.
Oh that's good to know, thank you! That's pretty amazing you remember that! Yeah, that's a good idea 😊
It is so beautiful where you live!
It is pretty stunning. Thanks for watching! ⛰
I love your Advent animals! I just started Katie kitty yesterday… And I think I’m gonna call the camel Camila now too 😂
Thanks! Haha it just seems to flow better. Good luck with your animals!
Love your Holly Hobby. She is so cute!
Thanks!
another AMAZING video. so much progress. love it. Cant wait to see you start your sampler. it's going to be amazing🥰
Thank you! With your fabric it will be! 😊
You should show the house that's in your town that you charted. I would love to see anything and everything of Norway. What you think might be boring is interesting to us, North American folks.
Oh that´s a great idea! Not sure why I didn´t think of it already! 😂
Loved the video- thanks for sharing your trip. What a beautiful place. Certainly nothing like living in Cleveland Ohio 😂
Thank you! Haha I've never been so it's still cool to see different places 😄
Umm, you are tempting me to start some new projects 😂 😅 thank you for the sweet shoutout ❤
Oh which ones? I will totally support that 😁
@@stitchingmoon well I already downloaded the advent animals 😂
@@nikkistitchy nice! So many are, we might need a hashtag!
Hi. Really like your videos. Have you considered adding the year to your temperature tree?
Thank you! Yes, it's on there right next to the city, just forgot to say 😊
Thank you for showing some of Norway, I'm always interested in other locations.
As for your Holly Hobby, Elisa (e_craftingincoloado) recently finished hers. She might be able to give you some details about the designer. She shares her finish in her 14th video.
Oh thank you! I'll check it out! 😊
Hi Megan! I loved watching your flosstube today. The views of the city were amazing. Thank you for sharing. I'm working on Cashmere Camel too. She's about halfway done. I was wondering what your plans are for the advent animals cause I'm considering trying to keep up with you. :)
Oh I think I just saw that in Istagram! Yeah we could do them together, keep me on track! I am thinking of doing one after I get 3 days on each of my other categories - focus, full coverage and random. So roughly every 9 days, depending on if I get all those days in a row. Glad you liked the tour! 😊
@@stitchingmoon yes! I loved the tour. I would totally live out there. Yay! That sounds fun! I'll work the animals into my stitching plans.😊❤🐪
I found Bergens broderiservice from Bergen Markveien 11.
Oh yeah, that looks like embroidery for bunads! That must be such hard work
😃🪡💙🦄
There is a wellknown author (Swedish) called Astrid Lindgren. She has written a book called Madicken. That's the main character's name, she has a little sister, Lisabeth, who puts a pea into her nose. , I think your daugther is too small now form that book, but perhaps they read the book on daycare? Anyhow its a lovely story and I think och there also a film basen on it.
Love your patterns, and I'm so tempted to try the fish one. But I l8ve the one of your pattern, witch I think is called Serenity? Or Solitude? NO I can't recall the namn, but I think you know whitch one I mean. It's a house in a valley with mountains and nature all around. But I have so many large projects right now, so I have absolutely forbidden myself to get a new big, but perhaps a smäller one....
Hahaha that book sounds perfect! 😂 I asked my husband and he knows it! I think you mean Beautiful Simplicity? That was take just outside Bergen on a fjord tour! Trying to think what my smallest is...out of the Norway ones it's Standing Tall. And the artist has some smaller. 😊
I think Moonlight Sampler is going to be my next non-full coverage finish focus after I finish WItchy Dreams.
Nice! Any idea when that will be? Maybe we can start together!
Thanks for making another video…I am wondering if the gift sending from the UK will work…our daughter was at home for holidays and BF sent a gift…she had to pay tax on it plus admin fee🫤 will you design some smaller full coverage designs as well? I cannot start anything extra big now😂
I think it should be ok, as it depends on the amount they declare on the value. My mom has sent things from the US with no problem. We'll see! I would love to make some smaller, but for full coverage it really loses the detail and can become pixellated at a smaller size. But definitely worth considering! I would try to do different versions, but Etsy charges fees for each listing even if you don't sell any, so I'm not sure it would financially work. But if I can get my own website one day, then yes! 😊
