For those saying it could have been shorter: I did the cabinet with his video (and paused) and it took me 25 mins to put it together! I think the step by step was worth it!

thanks. great video. I was curious as to what i'm in for. Need to do this but also modifiy it by adding a top and possibly some reinforcement so i wanted an idea of how it's put together so i can brainstorm on other ways to make it stronger. Thanks a lot.

Hi thank you so much for the video but after assembly I noticed that I had a dowel left should I take the unit apart to see if I missed a hole
If you followed these steps then you should be good. IKEA sometimes leaves you with an extra dowel just in case

Nope. It's perfectly fine and you can easily skip forward. It's not that hard to hit the forward arrow on your keyboard and skip forward.
