The only downside with cornering with 4 blade props is the SPIN up and SPIN down time. Due to the resistance of grabbing more air, the cycle time is slower so you lose out on full power when cornering.

Rick Britton, Another great review , Dear Captain Drone, I saw a Fimi video, they switch out there props for some DJI 8331 ,they showed that the sound DB were quieter, and they also said there drone was smother in the air, but when I found the props on a DJI web site they didn't say anything about which direction they turned, so what you were saying about the direction, it would apply the same to my Fimi, The DJI props did say they were quick detach props, so I think I would be alright to try them, if I want to order them ,they will cost 52.00 dollars, that seems a little steep to gain about 5 DB, but if it makes it smoother, what, do you think Thank you again, I can't wait to learn about Beta, really looking forward to your next video, Sincerely Rick from Mo and God bless you and your family
I did not know that the DJI props fit on the FIMI. As to how they turn you'd just have to put the FIMI props on and look at the angle of the blade, then put the DJI ones on and ensure the angle is the same.
If I missed it I apologize, when should you replace props due to wear? Mine have a few scuff marks but no chips. Is there something I should notice or is there a standard “maintenance” schedule to follow?

My question is about propellers it appears the novice uses two screws rather than a nut as shown in your video. I'm trying to buy more props but the single nut mount is far more common. Is there a way to or is it worth converting to a different mount the availability of two screw props seams limited. Any info would be appreciated
Two screw is standard today on small props. You order props by prop size in inches. Check the drone specs and either see the prop size in inches or see what brand is on them, then you can order more. Props in the FPV world are in the hundreds of models in whatever size & style you want. GEMFAN is pretty much the prop leader for brands, but there are so many players in the game that when you are learning it doesn't matter if you have the best props because as you learn & crash you'll keep damaging props. Once you get plenty of dings or a major bend, you have to change them.
No, not in DJI and not in Analog. However, on the old VORTEX IMMERSION FPV DRONES, they were pretty cool and you could actually change some of the pids in the goggles.

The number of 5” FPV props on the market is staggering (large numbers). All are great. Your choice is simply based on brand, color, number of blades and angle of blades. I couldn’t recommend any because props are a personal thing based on flying style.
how do i find and what are the designations of a propeller that is mounted in the rear of the plan and should be called a "PUSHER" prop? certainly a propeller that has the letter "P" on it is a pusher but their are ones called "EP" supposedly for electric planes? do you need to "reverse" the wires of the motor to make it spin in reverse or just leave the motor alone? some say its just the propeller? also i have seen just an "E" which should be just for electric planes but ive seen that it also sometimes is a pusher from APC but i dont know if thats true often what is marked is wrong about planes.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 YES! however drones have props on the top and bottom of each rail so yes quad-copters have pusher on the bottom of each top prop they can have 8 props.
I'm a little tired of Steve's insistance on repeatedly telling us how he is going to lengths to keep his tutelage "simple" so as not to blow our inferior little minds....I appreciate Your not going too deeply into the weeds that it becomes boring...but Steve , we get that , and we understand....and insulting our intelligence is not a good policy move.
I have been a subscriber to your channel for some time ,now...my reaction to what I percieve as your being somewhat demeaning is a product if having watched dozens of your reviews....don't misunderstand , Steve , you are far and away , the best rc reviewer on the waves....it just seems that , occaisonally you seem to be talking down to us....my take ....just my opinion
Mark, you seem to forget that Steve is speaking to a wide audience, varying levels of knowledge of the hobby, varying levels of general intelligence. It is difficult to do this without someone feeling like it is too much information for them, while others feel like they are being talked down to. Since you feel like he is talking down, you have a much better grasp of the topic than some watching the video. It takes a special person to be able to speak to all levels at once and I think he does a good job of it. Rather than critique his teaching method, think of something about the video that you can explain in a different manner, to possibly help someone who didn't quite get it the first time. Fly safe.

The number of 5” FPV props on the market is staggering (large numbers). All are great. Your choice is simply based on brand, color, number of blades and angle of blades. I couldn’t recommend any because props are a personal thing based on flying style.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thank you 😊
how do i find and what are the designations of a propeller that is mounted in the rear of the plan and should be called a "PUSHER" prop? certainly a propeller that has the letter "P" on it is a pusher but their are ones called "EP" supposedly for electric planes? do you need to "reverse" the wires of the motor to make it spin in reverse or just leave the motor alone? some say its just the propeller? also i have seen just an "E" which should be just for electric planes but ive seen that it also sometimes is a pusher from APC but i dont know if thats true often what is marked is wrong about planes.
Are you talking about Planes????????
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 YES! however drones have props on the top and bottom of each rail so yes quad-copters have pusher on the bottom of each top prop they can have 8 props.
Btw can u teach me how to do trick like flip and the other Stuff
Sure, in future videos
I’m a bit late today
2nd
Make the props go blow wind down and the drone will dig and go back to China😂
How is your father?
As happy as ever
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I'm happy to hear that.😇😀
I'm a little tired of Steve's insistance on repeatedly telling us how he is going to lengths to keep his tutelage "simple" so as not to blow our inferior little minds....I appreciate Your not going too deeply into the weeds that it becomes boring...but Steve , we get that , and we understand....and insulting our intelligence is not a good policy move.
Mark, I have a task for you. Watch each of my episodes and read the comments below them. Then come back and apologize. :-)
Fly safe.
Mark look at the comment above your first one, he doesn't have a grasp of what's possible in a single drone. This video probably went over his head.

Yeah..... thank you...i certainly have no intention of explaining myself to you...and meant no offence to Steve.
