Honda Grom (2022+) Fender Eliminator Install - Vagabond Motorsports VM-HG210

Installation instructions for the Vagabond Motorsports Fender Eliminator Kit for the third generation (2022, 2023) Honda Grom motorcycle. The Fender Eliminator is easy and fast to install and the kit includes all hardware required. This kit will reuse the OEM license plate light and can use either the OEM or aftermarket turn signals.
Note that some 2022+ Groms don't have the doubled up license plate light washers like ours and some have no washers as installed from Honda. We include a pair of extra washers in case your Grom has no washers in the factory install. If your bike has washers already you don't need to install more, one washer per side is enough.

Correction: 10:39 If your bike doesn't have extra washers don't worry just reuse the one washer per side, you will not need the extra washers provided by Vagabond. If your bike doesn't have washers here, you will need the extra washers provided in the kit.
Correction: 14:49 Only one washer per grommet is needed on the license plate light. If your bike came with one washer per side, reuse them. If your bike had two per side like ours, you need to discard one per side. If your bike did not have washers, use the washers provided in our kit

Nice kit. But how about adding a plate that covers the bolts and turn signal cables? That will add extra protection against water/mud splash to the cables and hole, and much cleaner look. Think i gonna buy this kit☺️

I’m about to install my 4th Vagabond Tail Eliminator. I’ve done two Z125’s and my ‘23 Grom. Today’s the day for the ‘24 Grom. These items are well worth the money, they install flawlessly and look awesome. Thank you Vagabond

Should've used aluminum. Don't need anything that strong to hold up a license plate.

i like it without the washers on the license plate light, its tighter than the oem but still has a little wiggle to it like it was with the oem mounting , i think it will make the bulb last longer since its not a LED

Just got mine today and installed it on my 2023. It was pretty easy to do with basic knowledge of tools and how things work. The video made the install pretty easy, and I would say that watching the video was the longest part.
*Side note though, my Grom did not come with the double stack washers, or any washers, luckily I had some spare washers lying around.

I got the Kemimoto fender eliminator first, got the Vagabond fender eliminator six months later. The Vagabond fender eliminator is far, far superior. The hole that you put the grommet in is actually the size of the grommet, while the Kemimoto has a giant hole … but still includes the grommet, even though it can’t stay seated in the hole that 3x larger than it is?! No matter what you do with the Kemimoto you’ll have a large hole in your tail that’s open to the real wheel.
The Vagabond comes with great parts that the Kemimoto doesn’t, like plastic spacers, etc. The extra metal on the Vagabond is also sturdier.
I.e. you get what you pay for…

Hello, I'm in the UK and thinking of getting one. What's the dimensions of the plate holder and where the screw holes are for number plate as our plates are massive over here

Our parts typically work for most international models as long as the turn signals look the same and the license plate will fit. The license plate mount is 7 inches wide by 2.8 inches long, and the slots for mounting the plate go from just over 5 inches to 6.4 inches (12.7 cm to 16.2 cm) center to center. Our fender eliminators are setup for a 7 inches x 4 inches plate size that is standard in the US but typically works for a variety of international plates as well.
