Value Drawing on Black Paper with Chalk for Beginners

This video demonstrates a shading and value drawing on black paper for beginners. You will use the black paper as the dark value, and add light and medium values. I used black and white charcoal pencils, gray scale chalk, q-tips, and blenders. This teaches you to draw the lights in a value drawing, instead of drawing the darks, as you would on white paper. You can draw along with the video, or create your own drawing.
