I came to US in 1990. I think we were the last group of refugees to come over while the rest got sent back to Cambodia. Started middle school and knew only ABCD so had to study hard to catch up with other classmates so it was not easy but with good parents and family and continued to work hard, opportunities would always come.

It’s too cold to build a house with bricks. By using woods and dry walls, we can put insulation between the walls. Also with woods and dry walls, we can put electrical wires, electrical boxes and plumbing in the walls. It would look nicer. And with woods and dry walls, we can be easier and cheaper to fix the walls or move the walls to expand the rooms whenever we like.
