Hungrybox probably have the toughest in terms with crowd and fans : - The boos and all the threats he gets - "Hungrybox kills melee" - Because of him "we cannot thrive on viewership" - Twitch chat goes apeshit when Hungrybox clutch out a win or when he gimps/cheese a player - Someone THREW a crab at him after winning a tournament - Every stock he takes or games , there is this dead silence, and when he loses a game or he is on last stock , you can hear the crowd goes wild and yelled "ONE MORE STOCK" - The only time I remember the crowd root for Hungrybox was all the way back in 2015 when Leffen was the villain, on Sandstorm where it was the only time I saw the crowd genuinely rooting for Hungrybox. - Hell, people even defend Ice Climbers players against Hungrybox, when Hungrybox time out Chudat, a lot of people where going apeshit about it, so they are telling me that a "one grab instant kill" is more legit than a strategic "time out" ?

Amsa does not play friendlies either to give info about his Yoshi, in street fighter it also applies where many top player would not play friendlies not to give away information. - His personality or his "fake persona" does not have to do anything with anyone. Did he ever harm someone? does he do bad things? The HBox hate is emblematic of why I'm so glad I waited until post COVID to get into competitive smash despite being a day 1 casual player. With mango saying he had to learn to like HBox because they are colleagues shows that his growth is far lower than what gets attributed to him. How about don't treat another person like garbage because it's the decent thing to do? How about don't wait until someone throws a crab at one of the top players to start treating them with respect? The company mango keeps in leffen as an HBox hater is incredibly fitting in my opinion. I'm so glad that you don't get so heavily biased and toxic commentators nowadays as well. And I have so little respect for the pre COVID melee viewers since they absolutely piled on all because he played in a style they didn't like. Which is stupid to begin with since watching someone of HBox's objectively insane level of skill is always exciting if you actually appreciate the game and aren't a bandwagon-ing hater.
