Dude. Its just this one channel. But this is the only channel I need. I’ve been subbed for a couple years now but I never practiced. You know what… been practicing for 3 days now. My wrist hurts and I love it. Your channel is so beginner friendly. You have a kind, warm and caring voice. You’re always to the point, concise and deliberate with your word choice. Thank you thank you Thank you. I would join your patreon but I’m a broke college student.
I don’t know if you’ll ever read this.. or consider the request but I’d REALLLY appreciate it if you could transcribe Thundercats “Jethro” to 4 string bass…. And make it beginner friendly. It’s my favorite song of his and I really want to learn it so bad (one of the reasons I even picked up bass) But like… there’s nothing… (and I mean nothing) online that could even help me learn it. No instrumentals, no tutorials nothing. I went on reddit to ask for help but like… I’m broke lol. I would pay but … really… no money. This bass I got as gift from a friend who gave them to me saying “you know what’s the instrument for a black man as basketball a sport ? The bass. Nothing sexier than a black man on bass. Its like nature calling. The rhythm, the depth. Guitars are for fancy boys. Piano and key are a staple that one learns over time. For you my friend. This bass… take it… feel. Vibrate ” I have an amp I’m borrowing from someone so I wanna make use of this opportunity by finally becoming a musician. I wanna make him proud, more so, myself and you proud. Your channel has been a boon for me. Thank you.
I bought my first bass in April and have been playing nearly every day since I got it. I love it so so so much, I found your channel a few weeks ago and your videos definitely helped me so much :)
Hello Tom ! Thank you for these interesting tips ! I’ve started playing bass in December. I’m always frustrated when I succeed playing a song with my teacher...And when I get home, I play the song really bad. Your explanation and tips were really good. I will try to learn more and more by keeping those tips in my head :) thanks again !

Thanks very much! That's great that you're hooked on playing.
These are things that I wished I'd know when I started learning how to play music. I hope the list isn't too scienc-y! Have a good weekend.
