I thought this was to the link for a new part. Not new side mirrors or headlights
Excellent!! To the point with no fluff or unnecessary chat and in the exact sequence. I used clear packing tape to hold the window. Worked great.
GREAT video. EXACTLY what needed to be shown for this job. I'm doing the exact same window today on my son's 1998. Just needed to know a few things. VERY helpful. Thank you!!!
This is incorrect for cherokee models 1996 and below
Perfect clear explanation. Only part I had trouble with was window since I didn’t have suction cups, but figured it out after trial and error.
Thanks for the video!!
Thanks for the demo with clear explanation and great video, this made the replacement a breeze
God is good, all the time. This is the video I was led to the most out of all the videos about regulators on an XJ on RUclips, and this one was the most concise and clearly explained video I have watched about it. The job was successful. Praise God, and thank you for making this video, it was a blessing, and I pray God's blessings on you.
I really admire your skill, and appreciate the videos. So far you've helped me with a Jeep headlight switch and power window regulator. Thanks much.
Is it possible to only change the window motor?
LOL I like how at the end of the video they cut away just as she notices it won't go back up!
I hate the original switch panel on the drivers door. Everybody should replace those. They can cause headaches with all of the windows, switches, and locks on the XJ. It can be shot and it can cause you to think its the other components, which I find mildly amusing after I figured it out.
Many thanks for the demo!
So only my driver side door doesn't work. The child safety lock doesn't work as well. Could it be a switch issue or moto / regulator?
I hope you replaced the switch panel by now because that's your problem
Great video thank you for posting
My jeep is 92. And Don't look like this 1. How much do you pay for the part? What website did you get it from?
Sehr gute Arbeit gutes Video und gut erklärt,Gratulation!
Good Video, thanks.
Good video for those who have to do this repair. There are torque specs for these fastners. Why she doesn't follow them is anyone's guess.
Very informative, thank you for the information 👍😀 so helpful
Great video!
You shouldn't cut the plastic moisture/ dust barrier. It peels away, uses butyl to stay in place. If you cut it like she does, it's best you re seal it just for some added protection from dust, moisture, elements
Thanks. Very helpful
4:10 Ouch!
This is for a 4 door, any videos on 2 doors?
+schmitice We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Blessings, John 3:16. Jesus loves you.
That white plastic is broke on my widow it's the only difference i can see from both sides
How about munal window regulator
And... rear Windows regulator replacement
Only an American car can make manual windows less reliable than the power version.
Video description is inaccurate. This isn't even close to an early Cherokee... Maybe for a grand Cherokee but certainly not my 89
That is very misleading because that now how the early xj are so staying from 83 to 2001 not true at all and bet u have confused a lot of ppl
You're wrong I've looked at my door I don't even have room to put my hands through the speaker hole
Not accurate for older xj
