Just wish they had given atleast 768MB or 1GB RAM, and atleast 5MP AF camera. Then this would be an excellent alternative to S Duos 2.
Now, this is priced too close to Xperia M, which has double RAM, better camera, much faster CPU , faster GPU.

I have a few songs in mp3 format and a few videos in mp4 format in my laptop as well as penn drive. I want to know how I can download songs onto this phone so that I can listen to songs and watch videos. I understand from Sony support that this phone does not support OTG cable hence cannot be connected to a penn drive

Neeraj Jain You can use the provided microUSB cable, just connect it to your PC and the phone would show up there. Once done transfer files from the pen drive or laptop to the internal or external storage of the Phone.

Can you please tell me about the volume level at ear phone?
Is it possible to listen music in a noisy place or noise will be audible with song?

Volume through the audio jack is quite loud. The default headset is not in-ear to there's practically no noise cancellation, so outside noise will definitely seep in. Moreover instead of listening to music at high-volume, which will definitely damage your eardrum get a pair of noise cancelling in-ear headset, so at even low volume you would be able to hear perfectly without worrying about outside noise.

Depends on what you are looking for. If you are tied to google services then Windows Phone is not the right fit. Plus in terms of general performance the Xperia E1 is better. However, the Nokia Lumia 525 has a way better camera and a better display as well.

Lenovo S650 is quite a different phone, it has a larger display, a quad-core processor, its not comparable to the Xperia E1. Do you have a price-point or particular features in mind?

Lenovo S650 is a good option, however we have not tested it yet. You can try the Canvas Magnus or the XOLO Q1100 also available in the same price bracket. Then there's the Moto G which has excellent construction and great features as well.
