Thanks for the platform, in my humble opinion this band and others are just a few that will be on the front lines of a Global war to protect Native Indigenous tribes worldwide who are on the list to be exterminated by those who write the negative narrative of The Globalist Elite Cabal. The Hawaiian indigenous tribes in Lahaina, Maui was just one of the most recent attacks of DEW weapons platforms on innocent civilians. Well done sir👍 Agree with all your comments. Some artists know how to add electronics in their songs to make it work. Been following this group since the very early lineups of members and they've changed the style up quite a bit since. Still great music and really just as unique as ever. Otyken represents more than just music though. If you learn a little bit of Siberian history and especially current events today, you will appreciate them even more. If you backtrack to the early videos, you might get confused a bit, but it will be well worth it. No sound like them - refreshing and unpredictable!👍👍

@@ThePentagenarian- Thanks for the reply Sir. I'm not much on reaction channel subscribing, simply because so few seem sincere. And even fewer actually research their material, unlike you, who is willing to dig into the details and be informative. That makes you stand out. Great music all around the world has been hidden all along till Utube came along. This music is the best and most truthful ambassador we could have. If you dive into a band you like from elsewhere, your compelled to learn a bit more, thus adding a little bit of cultural awareness which I believe is necessary for us all to survive. Well anyway, Otyken are not the only great band from Siberia. There are many who get very little notice. The region including Mongolia, China and Inner Mongolia(China) has a lot to offer if you give it a chance. Otyken are from Krasnoyarsk Krai District. South from them is Tuva, home of legendary group Huun Huur Tu. I would recommend Khoomei Beat "Wandering the Steppe" for your reaction. Your open mind just may like. @@ThePentagenarian - Yes Sir, saw a few of Aryun videos a few years back but did not follow further. Not a fan of EDM, dance or club sounding music, however I can make exceptions to the rule now and then. I can imagine what your audience would think about this one. Love it or cringe it - its definetly unique! I can enjoy this just for that reason You've made your way to remote Buryatia - I congratulate you. Pioneering artist NAMGAR is from here too. I'll send something later from her. Older stuff but excellent. The music from this region appeals to anybody with an open mind. Great track. It was the very first thing I ever saw from them!
I have a tendacy to use the word "shamanic" when I describe this kind of vibe. Mostly because I did a lot of research, studying, and training in this spiritual practise in my youth.
I really enjoyed this collab too.
Initially, I was resistant to the new paths Otyken were taking but they have won me over.😂
Not only Heilung but I also get the sensation at times from The Volfgang Twins and an indigenous artist from New Zealand whose name I've mislaid in my memory at this time.

They are new for me, but I can say, that they are the most exiting group of musicians on the planet this time in 2024. Maybe my ancestors blood is waking up in me listening to this kind of music the Altay mountain range is almost five thousand KM long and home for many indigenous tribes, so it’s a mistake to pick just one of them. Which I really thankful to you Sir not to concentrating Shamanism or other ancient traditions!

@@ThePentagenarian Let me disagree with you - Nytt Land make music on a Scandinavian basis, they sing in the Old Norse language and in the aesthetics of the ancient Germans. Otuken work exclusively with Siberian folklore - from costumes to musical basis. Yes, naturally they change the sound a lot in order to be more understandable to the modern listener,
but the basis is purely Siberian, based on indigenous peoples and their tradition. If we talk about

You are probably a boomer like myself and I have just discovered Otyken and they are incredible As a boomer that I think you are I wonder if you have indulge yourself in the music of Jethro Tull because they are a unique band with the music that they have produced. I would figure that you have heard of them, but I would like to see your review of their music.
I have seen Tull 3 or 4 times. I may look into their newer stuff since the last album of theirs I picked up was "Crest of a Knave"... LOL
Well that was a great album and the next masterpiece was Roots to Branches (1995). But you should listen to the whole catalog from 1968-1982 or thereafter. There are no two albums alike and that’s incredible because of Anderson’s lyrics and musicianship of the band members. So please check it out and comment on what you think. Thanks

LOL. He is doing Tuvan Throat singing. The little dance he does from time to time is actually a series of Shamanic movements used in prayer ritual. He is also the primary on this one as he composed and produced the track. First collaboration between he and Otyken and I hope there are many more. :-)
@@ThePentagenarian The dancing was actually cool. Seems like a harmonious balance between them. Again, that Throat singing will never be something I can get behind, but the girls were impressive.
