Yeah I tried to be mindful and give this ball a chance but this ball definitely not for me and my style of play. It does feel light and instead of focus on the game, I was focusing trying to adjust to this ball. That’s why i decided not to play with this ball.
This might be the most heartfelt and real review of anything ever. Appreciate it. I'm an Evolution loyalist, but I have Dick's SG gift cards to burn, and I want to try this out. I'm a "shooter," and I like the heavy weight of the Evolution, but the way you describe this thing, it sounds almost like magic - who can complain about throwing it up and constantly - even if inexplicably - going in? Thanks!
Joe Horvath thanks Joe. Yeah, if you don’t mind the light weight feel to this ball then you’ll like this ball, it is a much nicer build than the Evolution. Have you try the NCAA official game ball? I think you would like that ball too. Similar grip feel to the Evo nxt and it doesn’t feel light. Evo NXt and the Wilson NCAA game ball is about the same price too; around $70.
Great video. We started using this ball in our league so i bought one to get used to it and my honest opinion, i wish I could return it! I have the OG Evolution and its 10x better. Shooting isn't an issue but if your a quick guard good luck with your crossover with this ball. Weirdest ball ever. Don't buy. Not worth the $95 after taxes
💯 agreed with you. The ball is pretty pricey and it doesn’t feel right in hand. It doesn’t matter how many time I told myself to get used to the ball and I should be fine but I still couldn’t get used to it. I hope 🤞 the new Wilson nba game ball won’t be a disappointment. We’ll find out next year.
Such a good review bro. I love my Evolution and was curious about the new version NXT. I think it will be too much for me to get used to the lighter feel
Over 40 basketballs I have and after weighted, the Evo NXT is the lightest one. So Whatever the technology in it, is definitely make this ball feel lighter than the rest.
Premier Adult Basketball League this ball might actually be a perfect fit for your league. At my gym sometime we have a few seniors over 60 yo that come to the court to shoot around and I gave this ball for them to try and they love it. They didn’t have to try too hard to shoot, the ball reaches the basket easily. This ball is definitely lighter than the Rock. The rock is actually one of my favorite basketballs I like to play with. I would compare the Rock to the Wilson Evolution not the Evo Nxt. I feel like this ball is more comparable to the Spalding TF-1000 Legacy. These two balls feel lighter than any other indoor balls. But the Evo NXT has more grips or better grips than the TF-1000. If you decided to purchase this ball make sure you know the return policy just in case you don’t like it.
Idk if it’s just me but I recently had a game where this was the ball used and I just could not get a grip with this thing. I can’t really explain it but it’s almost like you lose grip at times when passing, dribbling, shooting, etc. maybe I just need to get use to it but either way I played terrible and I’m frankly at a lose of why
@@EverythingBasketballsIt’s a good ball. I had it about 2 months and i was shooting a lot of deep threes with it too it’s a little light but with the other balls i have it’s a bit heavier but i still be hitting deep threes because i’m a limitless range shooter.
Hello, keep up the hard work! Could you please advise on the following? I own Wilson evo next and spalding tf-1000 legacy, I really prefer the grip of the spalding and the weight of it, the evo next it bounce better but on a dusty court it gets slippery. the weight of evo next seems lighter than the spalding. I am looking forward to buy another one ball and I am between spalding precision and the Wilson evolution. could you please advise which form the above is a better ball and how the spalding precision compares to the tf-1000 legacy?
Thanks for the love. I would go with Wilson Evolution. It feels nicer than precision. I think the precision bounce weird. Also you should consider the new adidas pro 2.0 or the Baden Elite or the Rock c2c. These balls have nice feel and better ball than the precision.
Hey, I search a ball for play indoor, and the Wilson evo nxt like me.. But I see your other video and now I don't know what a buy. Evo nxt, the rock, baden elite or spalding tf-1000.. Or maybe the new molten? I don't have a restriction for buy it, I just want the best.. Help me 😁 thanks 🙏
julien kolb if you have no restriction then buy them all. Hahhahahah. I would go with Baden Elite or the Rock. But if you must have the Evo nxt then get it because if bought other brand then you might feel regretful that what if the Evo nxt is a nicer ball. The Evo nxt is a nice basketball but i don’t like it because the lightness feel to it and the price.
jydn nah. I wanted to give a lot of love to Spalding Precision but the more I play with it the less I appreciate it. I mean don’t take my word for it, if you want to get it go for it maybe you’ll like it. Personally i would rather choose Baden elite, the rock c2c, nike elite championship or season creator.
I’ve yet to meet a high school player who likes this ball. They all say the same thing it gets real slippery real fast. I’m surprised high schools are still using it.
@@EverythingBasketballs comparing with the OG Evo and the Wilson Solution, which of the 3 is the most durable? Here in NZ we play with Moltens almost all the time but kinda keen on the Solution coz its being used by the NBL here. Thanks.
@@MM-dv5rd go with the newer. But i highly recommend you to buy it at the store instead of order it online. You want to check the ball has good quality, no messy glue job or not too much gap between the black line and the panel of the ball.
I noticed are church we have a concert gymnasium 1 year it takes off the mark of evolution so you should find a church that has a concert and see if this Evo NXT pick up black marks on this ball?
Some people liked it, I don’t. The ncaa nxt is better than regular nxt. The evolution and the old ncaa solution game ball also better than the regular nxt.
@@willpenaa they both are the same balls but somehow the ncaa nxt has more weight and feel nicer. I brought both balls to the gym from time to time and the ncaa nxt was chosen for the game over the regular nxt always. Someone at the gym has a well broken evo nxt and to me it still doesn’t feel that nice.
Very good and most important detailed reviews , makes way easier decision what type and brand ball to buy , love it don’t stop what undoing!!!
Thanks for your kind words.
They made us play our highschool game with this ball. I couldn’t shoot at all because it felt so lighttttt.

I personally would stick with the evolution over this ball, no doubt about it. The evolution is cheaper and feels better in my opinion.
just a heads up: the ball isn't actually lighter, it just feels much lighter, because of a new technology Wilson mentioned in their introduction video
Over 40 basketballs I have and after weighted, the Evo NXT is the lightest one. So Whatever the technology in it, is definitely make this ball feel lighter than the rest.

I'm going to try this in our 40 and over adult league, we usually play with The Rock, how would you compare The Rock and The new EVO NXT?

@@EverythingBasketballs , thx for your response,
I got one for Christmas early because I in Texas for my bother wedding so warm.
This ball is great. Use it all the time.
What is the weight of this ball ? Ths
Where do you get this ball?!?! I can’t find it anywhere in person
Right now it sold out everywhere. You have to wait a little bit for Wilson to restock their inventory.

Yeah the regular Evo Nxt does feel weird. The NCAA Evo Nxt feels better even though they both made from the same materials.
How do you like the color of the ball in person?
Oh I like the color, it’s attractive and also I liked everything else about this ball, but one biggest turn off is the light weight.
I feel the same way when I play with Evo balls. They always feel short. It’s weird. I’m use to playing with genuine leather. Just a weird feel.
The evo nxt ncaa game ball feels slightly better, not by much though. Maybe because it weighted a little more than the regular nxt
The Evo is easy to shoot from longer range. When. Roken in boy it's like glue.
Yeah very easy to shoot from long range. But I still preferred playing with other balls. This one is way too light for me.
I’m getting this ball for my birthday in a few weeks.
Come back and let me know how you like it.

@Kith yeah. Hopefully Wilson make improvement later on.
Ball is good to English with and fadeaways/handling.
