Aikido in a way i never seen before, got more respect for it now. Others tried but failed to show how it can be used for real. BUT even though Aikido isn't about size etc, it helps alot to be a living bear like you. No matter the martial art, size matters in many ways.
Awesome work brother lots of respect all I can say is your videos are incredible you were on that show and all I can say is keep up the great work you have fans in Nicaragua that's for my Dojo is from keep up the great work God bless you
This is why small joint manipulation isn't allowed in MMA fights. The risk of permanent damage or very serious injury is too great. MMA fights are probably as realistic as it gets, but it can get even more real-ER than that.
I have been a police officer for 25 years, and a brown belt in aikido, there were many situations that I was forced to put it into practice in reality, thank you very much for sharing greetings from Uruguay
Is there any way we can contact your dojo? I’ve been training in Aikido for almost 7 years now and I’d be interested in taking classes with you sir. Please respond. I’m trying to take my Aikido to the next level.
Thats what im Looking for,im a former purple Aikido belt, and i wanna start a Brazilian Aikijujutsu Dojo,so im looking for this and Dai To Ryu approach, people dont Understand tha you can Spin in The air,Jumping To make the Aikido Mover more Agressive and Strong, that is the way to use Fisics,Think Aikido as a Spin and Launch the opponent trhu the opposite direction,as a hurricane....
If you can catch some one off guard or Drunk people, it has some great uses. against a balance fighter hmm not as likely. I think Aikido get a bad rap because it is based of someone trying to chop your head off so they lunge toward you. hand to hand fighters only do this when they are likely to have a advantage.
If you're talking to someone trying to negotiate then ambush them, then a lot of shit works. Punches and wrist locks and the like work best when they don't expect it. That is where Aikido can real shine. A grappler is not going to expect you to lock their wrist in a clinch. That shit could mess them up but, if they square off and go MMA on your ass you need to know Judo, Boxing, Bjj a so on. Then maybe you get them to the ground and pull off some nasty wrist locks and the like.
There is a time for wrist locks absolutely, and a time for striking, moving or other techniques. I agree you need to know what to do if you meet someone with differant striking or grappling backgrounds.
@@Martialarts1on1 There is something about Aikido, the foot work especially that intrigue me I feel has merit. It looks almost like a faint that can lure a opponent of balance. Then one can deploy the moves. A tense opponent is not likely to be caught off balance unless tricked, so art on war comes into play here.
Never seen aikido put under this much pressure before! Great work dude. I always knew there was something to aikido that could be practical, but the ability to use it in actual hand to hand combat seems extremely rare in the modern era
Finally! It is great to see someone who understands it. Looking forward to chatting with you OSU
Good stuff add Street fight or real bar fight to title get more views

@@droz2377 Aikido technique does not require someone to lunge at you, as is demonstrated in this video.
When you're applying the sankyo at 01:24 who's the person on the other side? Another bouncer? Or a friend of the offender?
