Pls I'd like to ask, for associate degree courses being taught in Turkish, will i first of all take a year Turskish class before the main course or classes starts ASAP in turkish and how then do i understand if the latter is the case? Kindly shed more light on this language study path pls. Many thanks
Hi, I assume your question is in regards to the Turkish Government Scholarship right?
If so, I do not think you can apply for an associate degree through this scholarship. I am saying this because the option is not even present in the portal.

If you check the website above too, there is no option to choose "Associate degree"
Nevertheless, if it is possible, Yes, you still have to take the 1-year language course, except you already know the Turkish Language.
If you already know Turkish, you'd have to take an "exemption exam" and get above a minimum score defined by your university or department.

I'd have to take the language course for a year before I start up my course, right? If I understood your explanation. I'm grateful for your response. Thank you.

İs this only available for students in the few cities you named? I’m a student of Hitit university in Çorum but just started the Turkish language course on the 9th of October 2023. I really love these activities.

Although these internships will be carried out in big cities like Istanbul or Ankara, you do not have to be in those cities to apply.
For example, I was applying to the P&G office in Istanbul last year. If I had gotten it, I would have had to stay in Istanbul for the 12 weeks.
So feel free to apply. If you get it, you can move.
If you are applying for the Turkish Aerospace internship, you'd get accommodation if accepted.
Since you are Tomer now, you may just watch out for these companies activities. Try to familiarise yourself with what they do and establish connections. So that when you apply in your first year, you wouldn't be starting from zero

The first 3 requires you to be in Turkey. You can apply for the Turkish Aerospace internship even if you are not in Turkey

As For P&G and McKinsey, I only spoke about their programs for 3rd and 4th year students. They may have programs for year 1 and 2 but I am not sure
If they Don't l, What I think you can do is
follow their social media handles and keep an eye out for their activities, events or online meetings.
Try to familiarise yourself with what they do and establish connections. So that when you apply in your first year, you wouldn't be starting from zero.
