Jennifer Holliday is Just fantastic and has to be one of the best female Songstress 's Still Singing Today 🤗🤗 THANK YOU QUEEN FOR SHARING YOUR TALENT WITH US 👍👍
Congratulations Clay on completing 1,000 episodes. Love you, love what you do and what you represent. Oh, and I love when you say "pop, dip and spinning" 🤣🤣🤣💗💗🧡🧡.
I love this interview & the fact that she’s giving Frankie Crocker his props! Frankie was also instrumental in breaking Tina Turner back into US markets..by playing “Let’s Stay Together” …when it was an import…he’s rarely acknowledged for this.
Jennifer you are hilarious... I remember at Kim's 2 years ago the look on your face when they started tipping .. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣well darling glad you understand it now🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I find it very hard to believe that Jennifer had never heard of Streisand. Barbra had just come off a huge success with the Guilty album and singles, and the big duets with Donna Summer and Neil Diamond. Streisand was also a movie star, and The Way We Were movie and song were hits while Jennifer was in high school. I wonder if Jennifer had ever heard Gladys' cover of The Way We Were. At any rate, during Dreamgirls, Streisand sent her flowers and a note telling her not to change by losing weight because Streisand had never given into the pressure of getting a nose job..
@@zanychris Do you know Jennifer? Like many entertainers, she can be very dramatic. I'm sure she is exaggerating about Streisand. How old are you? I'm asking because you don't seem to understand that in 1980, Streisand was as big a star as Whitney Houston, Taylor Swift or Beyonce and was already considered a legend by then - in film, Broadway and on recordings. By the time Jennifer did the workshop for Dreamgirls, she had already been on Broadway in Your Arms Too Short To Box With God and had already done a tour of Your Arms Too Short as a teenager, which I got to see when the show was in New Orleans. You'd be hard-pressed to find a teenager, especially a theatre kid who had never heard of Barbra Streisand back then.
Jennifer Holiday is Fabulous 🤩
She recorded that iconic song in one take?! Legend!
"When they go to another level, I go to church". Got to love that.

Gladys wouldn't of done that song justice.

Why would she lie about this? Just because you find it very hard doesn’t mean it’s not true.

She was 21, I didn’t know who Barbara was until I was 30.
