My goldfish of 7 years died like that. Before he died, he had fungus and wasn't swimming right. Ive spent a week and all the money I had in my wallet to save him. The fungus got off after I gave him medicine and sea salt. I feed my fish peas and he was able to swim upright and alrigt. Sadly, no matter how much time and effort I out 2 save him, he died. He was abt 7 years old. He was a fighter. I burried him. I still have his tank and other stuff in my house... I miss him still.

Just for future reference, I believe your fish has a disease called swim bladder. My fish was swimming around like that moments ago so I looked it up and u saw that you can help it by putting crushed up peas in the tank. It seems to be working for my fish, he looks stronger already. I'm sorry for your loss 🙏🏽

I had a fantail-just about 5 years. She grew to be 8 inches long. She had stopped eating and pooping for about 3 days. I set the heater warmer for her and waited a few hours. Called the Pet store-they told me to use Epsom salts-but my vet friend said not to do that- it was toxic for fish. I was also told to change the water by 3 sources-so I changed 1/2 the water out and watched her. After alittle while-she began to have trouble staying buoyant and kept floating to the top of the tank on her side. I kept helping her right herself and she would swim a little and then float right back on her side again. I was a mess and thought maybe I shouldn't have changed the water! About 3 hours later-she passed away! It was horrible and I feel guilty-feel I changed too much water? Should have left her another day and gotten peas?? Who knows what to do when they can't tell you what's wrong!!! I'm heartbroken and will never live this down!!!! She was so pretty!

it has dropsy.you could try salt dipping it to draw out the excess fluids(why it looks pregnant) and by raising the tempter,keeping the water clean as possible and treating it with antibiotics.
They breath out ammonia from their gills when the waters not clean enough they breath the ammonia back in and when it goes back out their gills it damages them.
All the fish in that tank are sick. You can tell by the clamped fins on ALL the fish. That fish is so obviously more sick than the others. Tank is probably full of ammonia. You need a test kit and some sort of a filter to cycle the water and remove ammonia. Small partial daily water changes with tepid water would help.
Mine did to she was not eating and I've only had her for 2 days her name was mi mi she is upside down in her tank right now and she is dead me and my mom found out why she was dead it was because she was stressed and she didn't have that much oxygen I guess her tank was to small so I feel the same way rip to both of ours 😭😭💔💔

well only thing you can do is remove the fish from the tank and put him inside a basket, put one oxygen tube to it, and wrap the top with a wrapping paper so the oxygen won't escape out, switch it on, ( if you have a oxygen controller in your machine increase it bit than the normal) and check for fee hours, if it fails it's mean your fish die due age. But if your fish is a she, put her into basket and leave some artificial plants around and place the oxygen, some say female fish is so shy and dislike to lay eggs in front of other fish, and always make sure you add or keep some old water to fish if you are cleaning the tank

If a fish died completely, I suggest u rapidly change the water so the infection doesn't spread in the tank

Your aquarium is too small for 3 goldfish. You need at least a 20 gallon aquarium for 1 goldfish and add 5 more gallons for every extra goldfish

i think it had sumthing to do with the water ph levels if u recently changed the tank or the fish switched tanks recently...
