I kind of like the plain fields of the Jovita quarter. I mean it would be a pretty cool coin to find a nice strong clash on 😉 Nice hunt, I have not seen some of those spiked heads, pretty cool. Congrats on the DDR as well!!
I don't particularly mind the blank field, but the design itself, to me, looks too busy. With that said, the Kanaka'ole is busy, but in my opinion, it works. The spike heads are new to me, too. Considering I've never come across them before 🤣 Thank you, my friend. 🤙🏼
Thank you very much. Proofs are collectors coins. They are struck with more pressure & multiple times to get a mirror finish. Your typical proof also has a cameo (frosted) devices. Here is some info from the U.S. Mint. Proof Coins: Are the finest quality of coin produced by the United States Mint. The term "proof" refers to the coin's finish. Proof blanks are specially treated, hand-polished, and cleaned to ensure high-quality strikes. The blanks are then fed into presses fitted with specially polished dies and struck at least twice.
@@usefuljoker those are all over the place. It's a minor strike through error, but on eBay sales are ranging between $5 - $100. There are others in the thousands, but I believe those are 1 bid sales, where the seller "buys" their own item. I'm not sure why, but it happens.
Not sure why it'd be worth money? Unless it's in remarkable condition or it has a unique error. You can email me images of the coin. DirtyWaterCoins@Yahoo.com
It can't be a D Proof. Proof coins a minted in San Francisco for quarters. What kind of errors does it have? I would suggest you look up comparative sold listings on ebay. That way, you'll have an idea on what to charge.
@noemirodriguez4582 It may be a proof, but it would be minted in San Francisco. Denver coins are struck very well. They always seem to be in pristine condition when I come across them.
I've heard that from others as well. I just don't like it. That's what makes us unique as people. We have our own likes & dislikes. Thank you for watching and your thoughts. I appreciate you.
I don't typically pay much attention to that. It would be a very minor grease strike if it appeared as a "C". A lesser version of the 2005 Kansas "IN God We Rust".
@writesalot1 good question. The field of the coin is blank, but her blouse/shirt is over crowded/ busy. It looks messy. Her blouse is made up of words. Personally, I just don't like it.
Still watching while eating at Serious Texas BBQ
The Jovita coin will be a nightmare for a good grade!!
@letslookbrad I completely agree! Possibly great for errors though.
How was the BBQ?? Love me some good BBQ food.
Definitely the first time me seeing that Jovita coin.
Hopefully the last, but not likely
It says Cod on front! Do you know if has any value?

Pls share, what is DDR
@@maryjoalsup5244 DDR = Doubled Die Reverse
Two coins
@@maryjoalsup5244 DDR is a “Doubled Die Reverse”. DDO is for Obverse.
Beautiful coin. Historical design.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I appreciate your feelings. Not my cup of tea. 🤙🏼
On the first jovita idar strikethrough candidate, the I and S to the right of Idar has a gash that travels in-line across the gap of the letters.
What do you suppose it is or the cause?
Graffiti everywhere, even our coins. Awful
@kd6836 that's exactly what it resembles.
I think that it's an attractive design. I like the blank fields.
I think some love it & others dislike it. If the "blouse" wasn't so busy, I might feel differently?
AYYYYYY!
Yoooooo
Are you from Boston?
@@mikemcgrath7498 I am. Welcome to the channel & thanks for your support.
First time watching. Enjoyed, even excited to see what u would find !!!
Can u tell me what indicates a proof coin, please?

What do I do if I got Two P Mint Mark 2023 Quarters With IN COD WE TRUST at least how much are they

What microscope are you using? Very clear picture! Nice
Thank you, Eddie. The setup I use is linked in my channel description. I'm not affiliated (yet) so I don't make anything from Amazon. 🤣😂😔😔😔
Ty, I learned something new today! I like the use of your pointer/ not a small arrow!
Great finds!!
Thanks, Daniel. Sorry it's taken so long for a response. I play catch-up every now & then.
God bless. What an absolute HIDEOUS coin. Smfh
Atrocious
I have a jovita quarter it’s really clean I’ve heard it’s worth money but don’t know we’re to sell it.
Not sure why it'd be worth money? Unless it's in remarkable condition or it has a unique error. You can email me images of the coin. DirtyWaterCoins@Yahoo.com
I found a Idar quarter with Cod in trust. Good find with D.C
Thank you & very cool.
I just found 1😅 it's a d proof with errors how much should I charge on ebay? Or should I get it graded first?

I figured it was a proof cause I can see my reflection clearly on it. Like a mirror

I was reading last night and it's likely a business strike with errors
@@noemirodriguez4582 what kind of errors? You can email me some images. I can try to look & help.
I am still looking for that Weir Farm Walnut error
There are a few of my subscribers that are still looking for that error.
I like the Bessie Coleman and love the Sally Ride. Other than those, the womens series has been TERRIBLE! GREAT HUNT BROTHER I'MMMMM BAAAACK!
Happy to have you back!! My favorite as of now for the Women's quarters is the Kanaka'ole
I like the Jovita Idar Quarter.
I'm not a fan. Funny enough, I personally think it's plain & too busy at the same time. If that makes sense? 🤷🏼♂️
@@DWCNC yes it does make sense!
I just heard about the flip side of that coin saying in COD We Trust instead of In God We Trust. I may be wrong might be worth checking though.
I think it's a filled grease die. I've seen a few. I believe they're common. I will keep my eyes open & try to show one on video. Thank you.
I found a Jovita Idar under a washing machine. It’s the errored one that says “in COD we trust” I’ll sale it to anyone who wants it.
I think it the best coin I’ve seen yet

I thought her blouse was crocheted and forgot to put other inscriptions 😢
Not sure what you mean? Other inscriptions?
Did you read what it says in God we trust is it a C or a G. I'm talking about the boring one
I don't typically pay much attention to that. It would be a very minor grease strike if it appeared as a "C". A lesser version of the 2005 Kansas "IN God We Rust".
Wow I have 2 of them 😅
Nice. Do they have any varieties?
I found joyita quarter with the faces upside down when u flip it over and in cod we trust on front!!! Not sure if its legit or not.
Hmmmmm. It sounds interesting. Email some pics..

did he follow up with you?I found a similar as well.
@@pachitas1038 no. I never got an email.
I have one that's crazy frfr
Nice
😃🤙🏼
I have 2 really nice Jovita itar
Do they have an error or variety? Just curious.
I have one and she has 3 hole marks in a line on her check
Sounds like a "bag mark". It happens when coins fall onto one another and it's dents the coin it hits. There is so much weight that builds up.
Found a Jovita Idar, what next step
Keep it or spend it. Unless there's a nice error or variety on it.
Nice hunt 👍👍❤️
Thank you, Wooster. I appreciate you. 🤙🏼
I found 1 yesterday
Sweet. Did you happen to find any varieties or errors on it?
I have two
Do they have any varieties?
Yeah not a fan of the Jovita Idar quarter. Nothing against her. I just don't like how they designed that quarter.
I agree!! Another coin that's as busy as it is boring. Maybe there will be a cool error on it?
@@DWCNC At first glance I thought it was a foreign coin.
@@PocketChangeInspector I can see that.
FIRST MF!
Bout time 👻👻👻

Worlds most boring quarter.
Yep
A few terrible designs this year.
@SilverStacker55 that'd be sweet. It is a great design.
Why because she's Hispanic?? Y'all racists
I thought it was nice though
