I've rewatched The Magicians a few times now and I'm always amazed by how well they use music and random musical scenes in that show. It's perfect, especially the scene this song is used in.

I'm here because of the magicians. I must admit if I heard this song without watching the show I wouldn't even listen twice. But because it gives me feels especially that it was played on the last episode and season 3 right after the fairy queen was killed it became one of my favorite songs on repeat in my playlist.

The six degrees of separation in the music industry always amaze me. If the right person were to stumble upon this, it would be a highly marketable and financially rewarding find. Conversely, keeping a core following without going mainstream is sometimes what allows an artist to remain edgy, hungry and spontaneous in their art. Either way, this is good music, with the potential to reach a bunch of people.
let me fix that for you: get watered down by people with power and money, that want to tell people that make the music, the way they think it should be (if they could make music themselves) that would be the best case scenario; worst: its some background music for some car commercial
What a great use of Music to set the tone. Absolutely loved the Magicians sad it had to end. What a cast from on screen to off. I never would have imagined such story telling.
