What an awesome video! I solo'd the Matterhorn August of 2024 and this brings back so many memories. Thank you for not skipping the descent, which for me, was absolutely the most terrifying part. Great job!
A brilliant climb guys made even more impressive (if that’s possible by the fact to climbed Mont Blanc the day before 😳🏔️🏔️🇫🇷🇨🇭 And your both humble enough to tell it how it is (bravo 👌🏻) Congratulations and best wishes Simon 🤠👍
@@brendanmooney8230can you recommend it? I froze my nose abit on Denali, now its abit sensitive.. Havent found a solution yet.. Eg I had some mask, but the water in my breath froze the whole thing 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤣 Does this get wet from your breath? Nice vid + congrats from Zurich 👌🏼
Incredible video, hopefully I'll build up to do the same in a couple years! In the mean time I'm aiming for Triglav then Mont Blanc this coming year, wish me luck! Oh and I was wondering what backpacks you guys use? - thinking of getting the ortovox trade 35 or 28 and looks like that might be what you guys are using?
I'm glad you liked it! Hope mont Blanc goes well!! I am using the ortovox peak 32 and love it. I have had it for over 3 years and have taken it on many climbs. My friend has an Arc'teryx bag
Great video and great climb! Well done! One day I hope to make it to the Matterhorn. Question: why did you guys rope up together on the rock/via ferratta section? That seems more dangerous to me.
Thanks! The route was very protectable with fixed gear and points. Made sense at the time to stay roped up and to use this to mitigate fall risks. We kept it short, we're very diligent about our moves, and kept track of the rope
good work dudes. I did blanc and matterhorn a couple days apart in early August
That's awesome! How was it?

@@marco00029 These nose guards are more for sun protection, they aren't particularly insulated, but I am sure the do protect from wind a fair amount.
