Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show I'm your host Paul and this video we're breaking down House Of The Dragon.

Season 2 is now officially here and this video we're gonna go through it all. I've gone back through the book and re-read the histories to as in-depth of a breakdown on the episode as I can. This contains easter eggs, hidden details and changes from the work as well as where we think things are gonna go. As always we'll be saving the spoilers until the end of the video so I'll give you a heads up before that that Spoilers are coming incase you knerr nothing.

Now before we even start the episode we have a brand new title sequence to discuss. This is a chronicle of the targaryen lineage and we start off with the tale of old Valyria.
The capital of the Valyrian freehold this southern was a home of the dragons. Because of their superiority in warfare, Valyria had conquered much of a lot of Essos. Its empire had taken down all its opposing nations and it rule over half of the planet.
Feels weird saying planet in a Game Of Thrones video but moving on.

They missed a big opportunity with blood and cheese. "Your mama wants you dead" would have been so much better. Overall thou it was pretty solid
HBO would never let them do it like the book.
@@chrisb6753I’ve seen worst scenes on GOT. Don’t know why they decided to censor it.
@@chrisb6753 The red wedding in the show was so much more brutal than in the book. So HBO doesn’t like the kind to tone down violence.
@@olafharoldsonnii4713Literally, i understand not showing them killing a baby on screen but they could have done so much better with the dialogue. Also they did not build up the tension well either lol
The book was too brutal. I think they changed to avoid criticism. After all we cannot control who can watch the show. Kids can also watch it without supervision of parents.
Truth is.. i was worried about that scene. It's still brutal in the show though. You can actually hear the slicing and cutting.
My theory is, Helena pointed out jeharays as the son, by thinking they will kill other one, that is why she said " no" and look surprise,
She foresaw the book but the show runners decided to subvert the expectations
The “what kind of American are you” scene from civil war was more intense than this.
She didnt choose to save her daughter. She thought she was tricking them
She said ‘they killed the boy’

Aemond IS at fault. He was a grown man terrorizing a teenage boy atop what is more or less the Westeros equivalent of a nuke. The old saying, "A dragon is not a slave," is a warning and reminder to people that dragons can never really be controlled by anybody. They do as they please regardless of their riders. Aemond's actions ended any hope of peace between the two factions (if there was any to begin with) of the Targaryen family.

Aemond IS at fault. He was a grown man terrorizing a teenage boy atop what is more or less the Westeros equivalent of a nuke. The old saying, "A dragon is not a slave," is a warning and reminder to people that dragons can never really be controlled by anybody. They do as they please regardless of their riders. Aemond's actions ended any hope of peace between the two factions (if there was any to begin with) of the Targaryen family.
