I got an SE 2 at my local Walmart for $150 back in November 2022 but it was locked to Walmart Family Mobile or any TFW carrier (Straight Talk, Simple Mobile, etc.) and that was an issue as I use Mint Mobile. I did get one of those SIM card unlock chips but it quit working about two weeks later. I ended up giving it to my foster mom as a Christmas present (she had a flip phone and her carrier was Simple Mobile, which works with the phone) then I got myself a used 128GB one off eBay for $150 (the one from Walmart was a 64GB) and I used it from December 2022 to around February 2023 when the logic board snapped. I put the PRODUCT RED frame on my iPhone 8, then my friends iPhone SE 2. Now I have an iPhone 11 64GB as my main phone. I do wish my iPhone SE hadn’t met its fate like it did, I will miss that phone.
I'm enjoying my SE 3 and got the 256GB for future proof and I previously owned SE 2, then sell it to someone. There's a difference and it's the battery life and a very snappy phone. I love my phone! 😊
I got an iPhone SE 2nd Gen. for Christmas back in 2021 and it is such a great phone (in my opinion). I mean, this was my first ever iPhone, but it’s still great
I've got the iPhone 13 now and I've also owned the 4S, 6S, XR, 12 Mini and the SE 2020 and I will say right now that iphone you have is still an amaing phone and I won't lie I'd gladly use one now tbh - I miss those bezelled iPhones and the 6S was the most robust one they ever made in my opinion - the SE 2 and 3 are like refreshed 6S's and I loved my 2nd gen
My carrier was running a special on the third generation iPhone SE. Minimum money down plus taxes. Snapped one up in midnight to add to the collection. Used it for about three weeks and switched back to my iPhone 12. Then nostalgia of having a whole button iPhone as my daily driver Was quirky and cool. Needed to get one because it is going to be the last home button iPhone. Have a first generation and now the third generation. Passing on the second generation because I think it will be unnecessary.
Being from the uk I’m not sure how American phone plans work but I would have thought that the reason the phone is cheap is because you have to pay a monthly fee to the carrier ? Over here we pay a monthly fee that pays the device and the phone line each month for upto 36 months
They are prepaid phones with prepaid cellular service plans it’s basically no contract. As far as how they are so cheap I think they are subsidized by the parent companies who own the cheaper prepaid carriers to attract customers

@@bosschungles I agree! And I do love tech like iPhones and all that too!
@@bosschunglesthe se 3 isn't a refreshed iphone 6s. it's a iphone 8 with the specs of a 13.
@@archux_ I said my iPhone 6S was the most robust phone I ever owned and the SE2 and SE3 were like refreshed versions of it. I never said the 8 wasn't
6:24 heres the part where they peel off the plastic ^^
6:07 my iPhone 15 was on the same version when I got it recently

I have this exact phone and it’s good
You got quite a discount! Even I paid $289 for my third-generation iPhone SE last year!
My local Walmart also has them on sale for $150. I'm thinking about buying it as well. It says online that 500+ bought since yesterday, wow!
@@Dolly-Days To be fair, they are cheap iPhones that are only 2 years old.
@@TheiTunesFanboyto be fair they have the same specs as an iphone 13
I had the iPhone 14 Plus and I have it to my sis cuz she didn’t like how smile it was so I took it and I love it even if it was a downgrade
