I'm Asian and I find this hilarious. I get the context of the jokes even though I don't understand the specific languange. Perhaps exposure to various cultures and accents helps to understand why this is funny. The jokes might not all land for someone who isn't as multicultural.

I'm with Dave on this one. The set up was very long and the punchline required knowledge of South African airports. I've never been to South Africa, so this bit was only informative and not funny or amusing to me.
Having been to South Africa and being a South African are two different things. You have to have lived in South Africa for a long time or be a South African to fully get the jokes. The punchlines were all in the stories and if you don’t get the stories or the background of those stories than all the jokes are lost.

They’ve enjoyed the previous ones or at least it seemed like it, but sometimes they need to understand Trevor Noah is South African and he started doing stand up comedy years before moving to the states or travelling the world where he can actually gather material for everyone. Have a sense of humour and appreciate the material even if you don’t relate.

@@makerkandike9810 I think it probably has a bit do with where we both grew up. I can imagine Trevor Noah is a legend in South Africa. My biggest issue with him is the issue i have with a lot of talk show hosts these days. They are a bit too political. Its all politics all the time. Im so sick of politics and everyone attacking each other. I havent seen much of his work outside of the clips from his show. Its not fair of me to completely write him off without checking out his stand up. Im going to try and check out some this week. Whats your favorite Trevor Noah comedy special?
@@Joshua-fz5zx I get you. I also don’t really enjoy The Daily Show because it’s politics, but there’s nothing we can do about it because the show was designed that way it’s about politics with a dash of humour and politics in the US mostly which I can’t relate to anyway.
I love Trevor from his stand up shows and the radio show he used to host back in the day in SA. Please check out some of his material “Lost In Translation” as well as “African American”. I think you’ll probably relate to the jokes I’m assuming you’re from America. Enjoy
