I do not see the link to the battery. It looks like they use some weird power connector to the machine. Is there an adapter available to work with a Renology battery or others with barrel connectors? Thanks.
I have been using CPAP for many years and have had a ResMed S9 and Phillips Dreamstations (two versions) and now the AS 11. The AS11 is BY FAR the worst of the lot. Why? 1) The water chamber is too small and will not last a full night on even moderate settings. This has become well known in the CPAP community. 2) The water chamber is excessively intricate and the hardest to clean of any machine I have owned by a long shot. 3) It is noisier than it has to be - because they used a smaller blower motor than other, older full-sized ResMed machines. I have gone back to my Dreamstation (newest version).
Where does one purchase the elbow for the Airsense 11? I see them for the 10, but not the 11. Also, I plan on using a climate line, does that cause any issues with that elbow?
I just got mine..I turned it on but how do I turn it off while I am not using it? I pressed the button and it didn't power off. The green light is still on..is that normal? thnks
Hello! We're sorry about this experience. We recommend the tube brush below for tubing maintenance: www.cpap.com/productpage/monaco-cpap-tube-brush-second-gen
Unfortunately, I have found with my new ResMed 11, that if I need to have humidity level anywhere above 4 that my mask and hose fill with water and try to drown me before I wake in morning and it wakes me up with loud noise trying to blow the water out of the tube. Has anyone else had this issue when humidity is 5 or above?
Hello, and thank you for your question! What you are describing is a common issue known as "rainout." There are a few different ways this can be fixed, one of which is by using a heated hose for the AirSense 11. I received mine with only a side cover and had to purchase a humidifier separately. Is this normal or should I be worried I received a refurbished device ?
Have spent to much time and $$ with doctor’s visits, sleep studies, checking and rechecking my settings only to end up where I started. I continue to wake up every night choking for air. The product simply doesn’t do what it advertises. At this point I have accepted my fate of 3-4 hours of restless sleep deprived of oxygen. Oh well.
