Thanks for the language lessons ... you make it fun and learning the language is really easy if you like having fun.....Terima kasih untuk pelajaran bahasanya ... Anda membuatnya menyenangkan dan belajar bahasa itu sangat mudah jika Anda suka bersenang-senang
I have lived in both spain and turkey. The problem there if you ask something, especially what things cost they tell you the price in the same language. So then you are just ???? If you ask anything really. Thank you for this video. I had started catching some words already. It is even esier to learn when seen written. I am from norway so l have no problem speaking it. :) Perhaps do some number next time. Hopefully you will do more. :)

Heyy there guys,.. Checking out your vlog for first time, looking decent ✌️... Just to say that all the basic Bahasa greetings mentioned ie apa khabar, terima kasih, berapa ? mahal etc etc, are also useable in Malaysia, South Thailand, Singapore, Brunei in addition to Bali & Indonesia. Kind of similar to having basic greetings in say German language..will get you by in Germany, Austria, Switzerland etc Terima kasih.

Thank you very much for the 'Bahasa Indonesian' language education! I appreciate it. One thing you shouldn't underestimate is the fact that there are hundreds of languages spoken in Indonesia, and trying to learn 'Bahasa' while traveling through Indonesia is quite 'daunting' because you never know where the words are coming from, Bahasa or the local language that is spoken where one is at the moment. For instance in Sumatra there are some 120+ local languages spoken, and in Irian Jaja there are alledgedly 700+(!) local languages, so to try to learn Bahasa while traveling is tricky. You will make many mistakes while traveling from place to place because of that, and that is a bit discouraging in my opinion. All that said, I would like to add another word in Bahasa that stuck with Me since My first trip to Indonesia in 1993, and that is 'telaat!' which Which means 'to late', as was explained to Me. Since 'telaat' is a Dutch word that got overtaken by Indonesian 'Bahasa' it made Me laugh My head off the first time somebody explained it to me, because it says a lot about Indonesian culture, that is mainly 'dominated' by a state of mind that is represented by the words: 'Jam Karet', which means 'rubber time's.🤭 so there is at least some remnants of the former Dutch colonization that left an impression in Indonesian culture! 😄 anyway, traveling through Indonesia later with My (Javanese) Girlfriend who obviously spoke Bahasa very well, I gave up on learning the language because she took the job of 'translator' for Me very seriously!🙄 anyway, if you got this far in My rant I have to thank U for reading it. Keep up the good work you're doing!👍
I'm nearly sure thats the longest comment we Ever got on this channel 😁👍🏽 But thanks for the effort to write this! And yeah thats true every island and region have a different language or dialect, thats even in Bali North Bali and south Bali they have a different some parts of languages so if they really dont like each other they can speak as they will don’t understand each other thats crazy right! Well thats a South East Asia have like that in other countries as well but definitely Indonesia is a Country of thousands of islands - and languages as-well 😁 Thanks for the comment once again and of course for watching 🙏🏽
Great vlog! Thank you for the very informative lesson. I will definitely make an effort to learn those words before my next visit. Well done! Please tell me, what is the name of the restaurant? The scene at the end of the vlog is stunning.
That was so much fun, thank you so much, great teacher Winny 😁 and good student Damien 😜 Yes Winny, I would love to learn more Balinese language, all I know is suksama 😂 and I find the Balinese love hearing it rather than terimah kasih 💖 I so wanted to learn Indo at school (long time ago) as Darwin where I live is so close. My Indo teacher taught us ‘apa kabar? Baik baik sadja superti biasa dan bagaimana kaburmu’, so I proudly used it when I went to Bali and to my disappointment the Balinese thought it was quite funny 🤣 I think my teacher was from old school. Great vlog and a great idea to teach us how to speak the correct language 😆
Yes, l heard that long time ago australian curriculum at school put Bahasa Indonesia as one of the subject, terima kasih for learning Bahasa Indonesia 👍🏼
Hahah cuz in Jembrana especially in the stores / warungs mostly people there are from East Java and they obviously don’t speak balinese language 😂 In Negera will be even worst
