Page, Omega, Bucks, and even Cody are presented as examples of that. When Jungle Boy expressed discontent with Jim Ross referring to him as Jack Perry during commentary in the first year, it signaled an issue. This, along with the apparent disregard of advice from veterans like DDP, Mark Henry, Big Show, JR, Jake Roberts, Arn, Tully, and Sting by the wrestlers, is problematic. The repeated mistakes and similar spots in their matches suggest a lack of guidance. It seems they prefer to follow QT Marshall, who is less established in the industry. This may have influenced Regal's decision to leave; he could have waited for his son's contract to expire and possibly secured a better deal with AEW, but chose to depart after just a few months.
Over the past three or four years, it seems that the veterans have been merely showing up to collect an easy paycheck, aware that they are being paid despite minimal effort.

Punk problem with wwe and Vince has nothing to do with product and how it's managed but it's how it's booked for guys like John Cena which prevents others from getting that brass ring Vince talks about...
CM punk is very old school and I remember Paul Heyman saying in Vince mind, cm punk has what it takes to beat undertaker streak but not Phil... Vince didn't like real Phil's but had respect for his in-ring work which even randy Orton said... You can hate he's attitude but he's business and always protected and stood up for locker room...
Remember, Vince gave cm punk creative freedom in mic during the time even Cena didn't have fully... Even before pipebomb, Vince did give punk heavyweight title reign and money in the bank wins.. It's just that Vince didn't see punks body type as main event...
I mean Vince forced roman to wear jacket even after shield for many years until roman worked on his packs when he joined Paul Heyman...
Vince has a type for main event... That's what punk and Vince didn't agree on..

A lot of talent these days don't want to learn from the veterans, the elders of the industry. They can't take critical feedback. I remember Athena throwing a tantrum because she got critical feedback from a veteran of the business and her reply was basically what do you know, I don't need or want your opinion and mind your own business. This modern generation of indie wrestlers aren't students of the game, they just want to do flips because that will get the five star rating from Dave Meltzer.

AEW has been exposed as not even being a part of the pro wrestling industry. As an analogy, there is no alternative to the NFL, MLB, or NBA (minor leagues and college does not count I'm talking pro leagues. Best of the Best). If you're an indie wrestler with dreams of truly trying to become a big star, you'll never be good enough working the independent circuit then working once every two months in AEW. To become the best at anything you have to eat, breathe, and live that shit! AEW is super amateur hour. Pros wrestle in WWE whether I like it or not.

Hangman was supposed get in trouble but in the interview was asked about the brawl out and said he couldn't get in depth about it so basically Adam got protected but basically Adam was the root of AEW problems going on now you see how Tony made his demise for himself because you can see that wrestlers who are at the top have so much creative control to the creative team in the company Adam should of got in trouble with the promo he wasn't a team player he thought Punk shouldn't of got so over when he came in the company and he didn't acknowledge Punk as the veteran Punk was Poor on Adam cause he's not even a big draw for me anyway but respect him as a wrestler you see respect by the way Tony a clown 😂🎉🎉🎉

I have supported AEW and want them to succeed. For a relatively brief moment, I could see AEW being a better product than WWE was at the tail end of Vince's leadership. But the petty, arrogant entitlement that the Elite and their cronies and to some extent, Tony Khan, have shown is really really off-putting. I don't really want to support them, as much as I want to support the company.

I dont think nobody has to listen to anyone im sorry tgey just work the same job. They not gonna have the same advice and path as the past wrestlers. I mean just bc tgey are successful it will never be the same different crowd and its different ways to get over now. But this whole u have to go to older wrestlers for advice thing. Alot of yall sucess was based of the promoter vince mcmahon he wasnt letting most wrestlers do anything but what he wanted so i mean i dont understand how now that tony on his own accord bc he doesnt want to do any work and gives them creative is they fault its not they fault him and cody promoted them having creative control they definitely took advantage and cm punk knew that before he went over tgere and everything was fine with aew till he didnt get what he want why cant people just go to work he told us nothing that we didnt know during the pandemic aew was a sinking ship and aways a b company but he came over he got his own belt but when people didnt wabt to listen to him now its a problem. Why would u listen to someone who was outta bussiness for many years and ur success was managed under vince mcmahon two different companies and two different ways of doing it. Tony khan been had his flaws but cm punk was there and knew that and we knew that before he came there. Also with jack perry all the internet stuff he been doing jon moxely been doing and many wrestlers before that cm punk not telling nobody nothing knew about aew tony khan allows them to do what they want and he will continue untill the network says no blood or no violence . Now everyone is agreeing with cm like he opened everyones eyes and everyone should listen to him at the end of the day when all these veterans was wrestling they were worried about they own careers and getting themselves over and follow vince playbook on whats going on his program Now when they get older its time to tell others what to do. I mean if tony khan is not successful after he saw the downfalls of wcw and tna that his fault he wanna run it in the ground maybe thats beat but hes not gonna get wiser bc he doesnt know what he doing and he not gonna tell them what to do bc he wants friends and cm punk bite from that slice of the pie of the already dying company when he signed up and had a customized belt too😂 also came back to a dying vompany after he was injured and only left when fired if he was true he would have got out this dying company on the first fight with they exective young buck bc they wasnt going no where but he took the collision show and went out they evrey time but i digress

He just doesn't want that advice, he thinks he can do better and he can make everyone happy at the same time. He doesn't care about making money because he already has money and he's always had money and he can keep the company afloat just to entertain himself. The problems started when he and some of the talent run their mouths against WWE and said they're competition and they were gonna surpass Raw and whatnot and when it didn't happen it was everyone else's fault.

I think part of the disconnect here is that you have public companies with a fiduciary duty to maximize profits and then you have ex wrestlers and talent who are not millionaires and billionaires and are still very motivated to earn and make money they don’t have…
Tony doesn’t need the money. He doesn’t care about the money. He isn’t obsessively driven to maximize a profit. It’s a passion project. An art project for him… and these guys just can’t grasp or fathom it…
Think Elon Musk and Twitter…. Sometimes rich guys have other reasons to buy and run entities that have nothing to do with massive growth and profits.
Guys like Al and Russo and other ex wrestlers approach things with a broke guys mentality. Not that of a multi billionaire…. They don’t know what it’s like to have F U money. They never will, so they will never comprehend the AEW mission… for better or worse… right or wrong.
Change is hard for old timers with their heels dug in.
Too many jealous old gate keepers in wrestling.

What’s the mission to wrestle in front of as little as a crowd as possible? To be watched the least amount? What’s the mission to have as many 5 star matches as possible? Like seriously what’s the mission? Tony isn’t trying to be the best version of his “business” if you could even call it that he just a wrestling fan with a lot of money who can fantasy book whatever matches and storylines he wants either guys that remind him of his favorite wrestlers,he doesn’t care about their safety, he just a rich guy doing whatever he wants because he can he’s literally a wrestling fan who just happens to run the business he has no knowledge,no experience,no business being in the creative position he’s in he should’ve just stayed the money guy what does he know about being a wrestling promoter or running a promotion? What does he know about booking talent to the best of their ability?,what does he know about creating in person weekly storylines across the country non-stop?,seriously what business does Tony have running everything in a wrestling promotion?some fans just need to stay behind the barricade,Tony is an example of when a fan get past the barricade when they have no business going past it, your right he doesn’t need the money but AEW NEEDS the money you think his daddy going to fund the company forever? Without aew getting tv deals and getting steady revenue they’ll start to plummet causing Tony to pay out of pocket start loosing deals, sponsorships and start having to make talent cuts because he pays guys who work 25-30 days a year upwards of 2-8 mill a year some will possibly leave too when contracts expire know that guys there work 52-60 matches a year make only 200k if they’re lucky and that’s wrestling in arenas that are 2.5k-10k capacity and are never sold out.i don’t hate aew I never will but I can also point out there errors and flaws and I will NOT shill for them blindly because of my hate for another company. So please tell me what’s aews mission? What’s the big picture we’re all missing? Maybe if people gatekept better we’d never have someone either no experience in charge of some of our favorite wrestlers.

@@najpalace3458 didn’t you say fans should stay behind the gate? I’d say that includes you! What does Tony know about wrestling business? I don’t know? Probably more than you…🤣 Who have you ever booked, employed, what production have you ever put on? What merchandise have you ever licensed or manufactured? How many media deals have you negotiated? How many contracts? Just being a wealthy guy with experience with major finance , he knows more than a broke ass mark like you.
What wrestling owner in history just paid for everything and had no control, say or influence?🤔…….
How much money do you think bottom or mid carders get paid on average? Even in WWE.
Don’t tell me you are one of those marks that assumes every wrestler is rich and makes millions of dollars per year🤣
I just saw Riddle on Ariel Halwanni and he said his pay scale started at like 350k went up to 500k and 750k. Durung his RK Bro run he was finally negotiating a new contract for 1 million and then got fired.
The Top guys in both companies make comparable numbers. I don’t know what the bottom dollar gutentee is in WWE… for example Asuka gets paid 350k per year base salary. That’s not crazy money and she works all the time and has to travel for spot shows.
Is the goal 5 star matches? …. Yes apparently.
What’s the AEW mission statement? I’m not sure…. Get on Twitter and ask TK🤣🤦🏽🤷🏽‍♂️
I don’t know, nor do I really care as it’s not my money. Not my company. Not my business. And I really don’t care either way.
As far as money goes… some say they operate at a loss of around 35 million per year… Hypothetically, if AEW never made a profit and don’t increase revenue at all from this point forward, Tony could finance AEW for over 20 years and still not spend even half of his net worth …. 🤑😂
Regardless… there are two things one man should not concern himself with when it comes to another man…. His finances and his woman….
Stop trying to get in or concern yourself with Tony’s money… it makes you look like a jealous mark and a basic hater.
