- Shroud was one of the first bits of music we wrote and has acted as a catalyst for all the music that has come after. It’s an important piece of music for us and marks the first chapter of this band. The song is about seeing things for what they really are, the lifting of a Shroud.

Black Peaks with support from Palm Reader and Toska Manchester 2016 was maybe one of the best gigs I've ever been to, and now you're all making music together, so good to see. Love this track, can't wait to hear more

Definitely not what I was expecting! Wow! Being a dorje fan for so many years, I can’t lie part of my heart was coming into this to hear a familiar sound that I love so dearly. As I cranked this tune on my way to work this morning. I realized very quickly that vower will be a whole new beast! I absolutely love the mix of metal core and melodic rock music. This tune has me very excited for more to come in the future. Who knows maybe we can squeeze in a little bit of that nuno inspired riffage!
This is great. It ticks all the right boxes, it's like Karnivool with extra spice, and I say it as a compliment. I can't wait to hear more

I'm not your target crowd. I'm in my late 50's. I love the singers voice, but not the screaming. LOL I know....old fart. I have and always and will support anything Rabea has his fingers in. 🤭 You know what I mean. Screaming and growling is just not my thing. Everyone absolutely kills it! I wish nothing but the best for all you guys. Keep smashing it hard!!!

I'm 61, I don't mind the harsh vocals at all, I used to be a bit hesitant 20 odd years ago, but once I realised just how much technique was involved, I changed my mind, I have played Metal for over 40 years though....
Totally in the same arena as you guys at 57. Love Rabea, covered many of his tunes on my channel, but just can’t gel with the screaming. Music is sick, as well as the singers true voice. Maybe an exorcism may help to cast the devil from his voice?
The guy can sing and find a melody so fuck knows why screaming has come into the mix. That only appeals to a very small audience whereas Rabea is fucking killing it on all levels on guitar. It's one track, so it is tolerable, but fingers crossed they push the song and not the vocal chords!

Massive. I always wanted a heavier karnivoolsound . And this is just that. I can clearly see how much rabea is in this sound but holy hell the drums and bass. The. Vocals are just what we needed. Good job guys
Im finding after quiet a few listens how sick the little ambient section is after the first bridge with the whispered chorus in there is so sick, its like the easter egg for the return listener. Just what id hoped for, as a fan of basically everything that this collective of individuals has done before it . This whole thing is just a massive treat. goose bumps.
Totally feel this! On the first time, I had no idea that was the chorus just hiding in there... these guys have all made incredible songwriting contributions throughout their careers so far, it's unbelievable to have so many together in a project like this!

So stoked for the future of this band, I don’t think I’ve ever anticipated a single quite as much as this one. Palm Reader were the second band I ever saw live back in 2014, Toska’s Ode To The Author tab book is one I studied religiously, and Rory’s old RUclips riffs were a huge inspiration on my early playing. Throw in some Black Peaks and it's a recipe for some bangers.

Absolutely adore the vocals. So much range not just in the cleans, but the screaming, too. So many vocalist only have on scream; this song has like 3 or 4 different screams, it's fantastic.
The vocals are the weakest part in IMHO, both mix wise and tone. Screaming is overrated.

I am quite sure this will be my new favourite band. I am a huge fan of Rabea, he is my idol. Liam is one of my favourite drummers. I also love the Black Peaks and Palm Reader plus I have listened to the two Totemist EP's hundreds of times. I adore pretty much everything these guys have done so far in their other projects, so imagine what they can to together, once assembled. Cannot wait!!!

I LOVE HIS CLEANS! The "OOO" type of stomach vocals just fit so well to this instead of the "IIIEEE" vocalisations that are often sounding younger and more nasal. Fucking great job EVERYONE

This song covers an insane amount of ground for only being 3 and a half minutes. I do hope that they do some actual long form songs, but this song FEELS so much longer than 3 minutes and it somehow isn't

This is epic! There is so much going on, so many layers, every instrument (voice included, at that level a voice like that is an instrument) has its own space to build an overall wall of sound. I was expecting something good, but it went to a much higher level than I thought.
