I love your energy! You have to explore more Bowie - so many different sounds. Let's Dance, Changes, Hallo Spaceboy, Ziggy Stardust, I'm Afraid of Americans, Lazarus. Feeling funky, give Fame a listen to - literally, there are 100s of more Bowie songs. Enjoy the ride!

For a German, you should know that this song is from Bowie’s Berlin period. The song is about a couple in love and seeking to escape to be united over the Berlin Wall. Bowie was inspired by an actual event on the wall whilst he was living there. - “Inspired by the sight of Bowie's producer-engineer Tony Visconti embracing his lover by the Berlin Wall, the song tells the story of two lovers, one from East and one from West Berlin. Bowie's performance of "'Heroes'" on 6 June 1987, at the German Reichstag in West Berlin has been considered a catalyst to the later fall of the Berlin Wall.[2][3][4] Following his death in January 2016, the German government thanked Bowie for "helping to bring down the Wall", adding "you are now among Heroes" -Wikipedia.

Great reaction.. I love the vibe.
Fyi, David's idol growing up was Little Richard.

I'm so lucky to see Bowie 3 times live and he is my all time favorite. But - now I've found a new singer who is mind blowing. So please react to Dimash Kudaibergen singing "Ogni Pietra" the fancam version and his performance at the singer competition 2017 "Adagio". This guy has an 6 octave range and he is trained since the age of 5 years old. Never heard a male singer with such a range and smooth in the voice. All the best from Germany 🇩🇪 and stay safe ☀️Petra

He was not a British Elvis. Bowie was Bowie. He wrote his own songs, produced other people’s, played a multitude of instruments and mastered a range of musical genres. And that is only talking about his talent as a musician.

There's a reason I say Bowie was the greatest songwriter and vocalist of at least the 20th century; and perhaps the 21st as well. He was no one's fool, and every outsider's champion.

Thanks for reacting to this great live performance. Another one I personally really like is his live performance of 'This is Not America.' It's got a jazz vibe to it and I think his vocal is fantastic. Here is the link if you want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/cUliUWMrMZA/видео.html

I know how great the original recording of "Heroes" is, no argument on that. But, I love how, later in his career, he decided to kind of do a remix arrangement of it. The way it starts low key, then keeps adding in layers just sweeps you up in it's momentum. Pretty powerful stuff.

I have heard this song a hundred times, and I think you hit the nail on the head, it's 'the beat'. Somehow in his genius he found the 'Perfect Beat'. Instant sing-a-long! Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhh, just for one day! Ohhhh...

The only artist I'd put up with Freddie Mercury. Definitely check out 'Under Pressure', an unplanned collaborationfrom Bowie and Queen, that came from an accidental meeting at a recording studio. Sadly, they were never able to get together to do a live show, but the studio version is great, and there's a tribute version put together from live clips after Freddie died.

The problem with autotune is it takes all the personality out of peoples voices and so many sound the same with that synthetic nasal twang.
