As compare to build quality Redmi 8 is far better than realme 5, But performance all of us know SD 665 > SD 439 but still redmi8 keeping their std performance. I bought Redmi8 a month+ ago with 9999 and i look mostly build(GG5, P2i, design) first for durability/rough use(Thats why purchased it even for 10k too a yr back it was 7999k but bad luck now increased 2k), I'm satisfied with performance and not expecting much more bcoz it is SD439. Camera/images and Sound/voice clarity are good compare with realmi 5 but seems bit more battery draining even 5k mAH for redmi 8.
