1992, 15 years old and Deicide on the hifi. My older brother said listen to this! I could not believe the drums and just how heavy it was plus I always wanted to drum kit. Been playing for 25 years and still in shock each time I listen.

I'll still buy ANYTHING Deicide. Got signed posters and 2 of Steve's drumsticks that are PRICELESS. Then again I'm "old-school", been buying Deicide albums since 1996.

Thank you for the interview. It's bad to hear all these words about "one song in the year". I have all Deicide albums in my CD collection and I want more.

I totally sympathise with Steve on the subject of downloading music. My own view is that it's fine to download something to work out whether or not you like it, but then once you've decided you do like a band or album you should actually go out and buy what you downloaded so you own it legitimately and so you're financially supporting the band you like. It's not just in their interest that you buy their stuff, it's in your interest too cause if you want them to keep releasing new material they're going to need money to do so.

Awesome. Great interview. Too bad that the sound in the background interfered with the interview but it is what it is. Thank you, Steve for doing the interview. Long Live Deicide.

I own all of Deicide cd's as well. Been buying them since 1995 the day they come out.

I feel for Steve. The digitial world is eating away at his music, which at his(and the rest of the band's) age is their livelihood. I OWN all of Deicide's albums and both their DVDs. Downloading should be stopped.

Steve seems pissed bout the whole situation. And to be honest I dont blame him and its fucked up that fans are killing the music scene. Buy a cd tight arses.

No record stores in the town is bad, but when you have no record stores in whole country (like mine) - that really sucks :) But even in this situation it's not so hard to buy an album if you want it.

it does suck how they take bands albums and put them on youtube or where ever to download for free . it really fucks over bands from trying to make a living . its one thing if the albums are like 10 years old but that aint the case . bands like deicide dont make millions of dollars and it takes a toll on the bands thats trying to give us some good jams . people are gonna be pissed when these bands cant afford to make new CDs and go on tour smh

After hearing all the Glen Benton interviews how he pulls no punches its kind of surprising that Steve holds back. You think that being that Steve and Glen hold the same beliefs that Steve would be more like Glen but surprisingly he's not. You think he's go off on everyone in this interview being that its his music being stolen.

Their previous album sold 2k something copies at first week. Now that is just fucking outrageous. There are few more deicide fans than that. You better buy their next one.
(although it is bit fucked up these days. There is not a single record store left in my town, so you have to go to internets and order their cd's. Knowing that you could just steal it whit fewer clicks. Spotify etc. only benefits mtv product "artists", who get like millions of downloads)

Whoever is playing the Def Leppard, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest riffs in the background totally drowned out Steve's interview. You should've set up this interview in another, more quiet room or told the guitar player to get out.
