What other questions do you have for my hitting coach?!
Mindset?
Is jump rope good for hand eye coordination? Thoughts on hitting plastic golf balls or beans to work on hands and timing?
Oh and hey there is a rumor that you locked your keys in your car when you got called up from Corpus. That would be a fun story.
Alex Bregman are those little plastic balls and skills bat good for hand eye coordination?
What is a good drill for a teenager that has a week front side and keeps a slight bend in his front leg? This is causing him to drift his body towards the baseball. Thanks for any tips.
2019 AL MVP ??? 🤔

Fuzzy I watch your vids all the time

Hi Dad
Thanks for sharing with your fans, Alex. You are one of the main reasons I am so obsessed with baseball. I started watching baseball during the 2017 ALCS, but I continued watching baseball because I wanted to watch you play. I have learned so much about baseball in the last year, and am still learning. You have no idea how much you inspire this desire in me to know more about the greatest game ever played! Thanks, Alex. I cannot wait for this season to start. Let's go Astros!
What size bat do you swing?
before or after the choke up?
Is it easier to hit the ball when you know if it's a fastball or offspeed pitch?
One of the best hitting videos that I have seen from a coach. Need more, more, more!!!!
AB - you got a great hitting coach!
This was a hitting conversation about one man that turned into a huge lesson for coaches. More videos like this would be great
The timing of that hit at 8:14, with the sound of the hit in the background! I see that effort! I applaud you! Lol
Don’t sacrifice your health for it though. We don’t want you to have a 4 or 5 year run. We want a 20 year career of Bregman!
I think Alex is a natural talent for baseball and he loves it so much that he will take care of his body.
Lets go OAKLAND! green & Gold taking the crown this upcoming season
Doubt it. Astros are loaded
@@SolitarySoldier doubt all u want B.. im ridin wit my home team
Oakland Native this aged well
High school JV manager here in Michigan, thanks for the video.
Alex, has a very quiet hitting stroke. He keeps his hands still, he is short to the ball & his lower body is very still & quiet as he swings. When you hit like that you see the ball better, you can wait on the ball longer & you can keep your hands inside the baseball & hit it where it is pitched. Gives you power to all fields.
Good times. Looking forward to this up coming season, cant get here fast enough!
Can’t wait for this season
GREAT insight. Thank you for sharing knowledge!!!
Freaking epic bro! Don’t ever leave Texas!
The only Move i want you to make is come up to North Texas! Say.........Arlington area maybe!
Os fan but you are awesome!!!!
Goat
Oh my God I love you so much
Really great insight Coach, thanks for sharing! What is the best advice for hitting "Uncle Charlie" from a 12 to 6 pitcher?
Thanks Alex, He mentioned the different colored dots on the balls. I’d like to try this with my son. Could you let me know what size dots y’all used? Appreciate it!

How many games do you think the Astros will win now that you can't cheat anymore? Just an over/under is fine.
When I look at AB all I think is...why does he look like Shayne Topp?
Alex you know Matt your Batting Coach when you were younger? That’s my batting coach
nds Plays matt foote?
Justin Trujillo no Matt Knox
I pull my head when I hit. Coach's tell me that and I know I pull my head when I hit. How do I fix that? Also do you have workout for increasing your bat speed? Thanks Alex you are amazing.
It's not your swing.
It's your intention.
Your plan...
Your approach.....
Ultimately,
What pitch are you expecting.....
and in what location are you expecting it?
Inside, middle, away, up down?
The answer to this question is responsible for your fine tune timing.
Here's what's happening when your "pulling your head".
Btw...Every hitter has experienced this to a certain degree.
You are expecting an inside fastball in your wheelhouse, with intention to pull the ball.
This can cause you to be early especially on pitches out over the plate.
And being early a lot of times looks like you are pulling your head.
Or
Out and around the ball.
Or
When you do the famous butt out reaching swing for outside pitches.
Reach and roll over grounders to your pull side... this is all due to early-ness.
The early-ness being caused by your plan/intention.
Changing your plan will change your timing and swing.
So, Here is the big league secret to crushing balls to all fields with your max potential power.
It's called "expect away, react in."
I'll explain how it actually works...
When we as hitters expect the pitch out over the plate with intention on driving it into my oppo gap.
You will start to see how this keeps you physically "on the ball" and on time to pitches out over the plate.
With practice through front toss and BP you will learn how to expect fastball away and react in when you recognize ball middle or inside.
And this reaction is a quick powerfull reaction to the inside zone... instead of a slow-down reaction when we expect inside and try to react away.
I learned to expect it away and when it was away I smashed it oppo gap. And if the pitcher left it fat I would turn and burn on it and hit the furthest bombs of my career to my pull side.
It really works.
Expect away react in.... master this.
Make this your default approach.
And you will develope as a true pure hitter.
Simple unnecessary recap lol...
Expect fastball away knowing your going to crush it through the fence in oppo gap.
If he hangs something or leaves a fastball fat I will turn on it!
Embody this mindset and start smashing...
@@yurperfect Thanks bro. I have had this problem for a while now and this is a lot of help
You got it bro...
Who is the guy wearing the LSU shirt @ 6:26?
Who is your hitting coach
Smart dude...
you probably won't respond but what drills can I do to get more backspin and more lift on the ball. I have the power I average mid 90s to low 100s exit velocity and have reach 112 mph exit velocity and I'm 18 years old. I have some videos on my channel of me hitting and please feel free to critique and let me know what I should fix. thanks
Boom boom

You need to find a girlfriend Breg.
Love you though kid.
Oof
03:52 You hit a golf ball with your ass! Hitting a baseball is about foot-work. Pitchers
will eat you alive if your foot-work is bad. Hands are less important. The most important
skill a batter can acquire is learning the proper technique of sacrifice bunting.
Dimaggio struck out 369 times in his career about once every 4 and a half games.
Guys like Bregman strike out 4 and a half times a game. Dimaggio practiced
sacrifice bunting for hours every day as a major league batter. That is why he
seldom struck out.
