I love Indy. He's so comical. The first time he fell off he was so stunned. And him licking his leg and forgetting he was going to fall off was too cute. It's not all that amazing he would figure out how to shut the machine off as this is the cat who knows how to stack two beds together. It makes me happy that Indy's owner goes into hysterical laughter over his cats. It spreads such a pure feeling of joy. 😹❤

I love my cats to death but one of them has a habit of meowing nonstop sometimes for hours.... he’s not in heat... he’s fixed. He and his brother were shelters cats. They were institutionalized I think.... were there for a long time. His brother on the other hand don’t make a sound ever. Strange. They’re twins too

Does he want or need something, kind of like a baby that cries until you figure out what the problem is (hungry, wet, tired, too hot, etc) or does he just go on meowing regardless of having all of his needs met? Does it always happen during a certain part of the day (or night - the worst)? My cat meows most when she enters a room, we come home, she's hungry or it's treat time, she want to cuddle or the fireplace turned on because she's cold, she's settling in to go to sleep, she's announcing that she's pooping or about to puke, and sometimes out of what seems to be sheer boredom - so pretty much all throughout the day and night with night being by far the loudest, most annoying meows. Each meow is unique, too, so that we know what she's meowing about even if she's in another room. It is interesting that the brother does not meow at all. Maybe the one that meows does all the talking for the both of them. You know, like in people when one sibling is more introverted and the other outgoing one does all the talking for the both of them.

Cats will often do that in tense and confusing situations. For them it slows the world down, they are seemingly engaged in a mundane task while probably thinking very hard about the problem or just hoping it will go away. Similar to a way British stop to make tea, no matter what they are doing at the moment. It's a ritual that puts everything on hold :)
or a human procrastinating knowing that it will screw them in the end.

Interesting that even when walking he kept forgetting he was in motion because physically he was staying in place. It blew my mind that he tried to groom himself mid walk completely forgetting the floor was moving. It says alot about how they might process moving.
Shihoblade yeah for sure, we couldn’t be too far from it, the sensation of treadmill moving is closer to standing.. compared to any moving at all... that’s their input, the sensation of at least not being 100% at rest.
Not to mention that every time it went for the ball, according to its calculations, it should have reached the ball in a few steps. But fot some reason the ball got further!
