hey brother you skipped how to drag the highlighted portions from edison into slicer mine doesnt work like thats

You should always chop the sample in Edison first! Than drag the file from Edison onto Fruity Slicer!

To each his own. I like to get the loop first in edison then send to slicer for auto chopping to the amount of chops I actually want.

Do slicex next please it’s cooler & does much more but I don’t understand what the knobs do or mean. I never touch them every time I try it does make samples sound good but if I make a mistake I don’t know how to undo the changes from lack of knowledge of the knobs & parameters

SliceX is my worst enemy. So many missing features, I wish they would’ve just turned fruity slicer into slice x without removing any features from fruity slicer. The pitch knob is weird on there doesn’t work the same as fl slicer

​@theycallmeheat u can pitch multiple ways in slicex the speed knob is a pitch knob aswell plus the time stretch allows u to pitch in semitones with timestretch on or off like edison

What about chopping the sample in Edison then import it to fruity slicer?

I did forget to mention that. But you can do that for sure. Just make your markers then highlight everything and drag into edison.

Nope not all the time. Depends on how you chop the sample or how you want the groove to go.
