This is shaping up to remain a very hot summer
We're just cooking here in TN and I'm not talking about food. We are planning on putting up clothes lines to save on electricity.
I already hang my clothes..lol I'm in louisiana
My dryer shit the bed last year so I’ve been doing this for a year. I’m convinced it drys just as quick if not quicker outside.
Howdo get you your
ur clothes soft? I use wh vinegar for my softener. My towels are sooo stiff.
Gas dryers are better anyway.
@@NugzTrippy You must live in a dry place, it takes forever in the humid Summers in East Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and similar places.
It's about to start feeling like mid July...imagine that.

Oh Tuesday there was the most beautiful and orangest sunset I have ever seen, fireflies popping in and out, the pink fragments of light bouncing off of the small clouds, and a tangerine sun, it looked almost like something you would draw, but better.
After 75 years, I can't remember heat this intense, for this long, over such a huge area or around the world. This is nuts !!!
Imagine after 75 more
Imagine 75 more
1992 in Texas. Last week of January hit 80 for high temps. For the next 10 months. It was hot with many of those months the low temp of the day never got below 85. 2006 was very much like this as well. It was one of the hottest summers in North Texas. This year in North Texas is actually really nice.

You can have it back! Take it back!
It's a dry hot isn't it?
Yalls heat is dry though huh? Hot and miserable but semi doable. The humid 100+ degree days around the gulf area is unbearable.

Yesterday, there was an incredibly photogenic wall cloud + bubble clouds at sunset (plus 2 other clouds) It was south of russell, an isolated storm over fields.
Words do not do it juctice, but the pink light reflecting off the clouds in such a perfect way made it look straight out of fiction. There were also puffy clouds and a stringy cloud right next to it.
These 100+ degree days make me question my life choices of being a mail carrier 🥵 thanks for the forecast Max

It was 100+ when I was growing up in the 1970s and few of us had AC. My family member drove to FL Keys in a car without AC.
I am really worried about weather now. Not in the sense that I am fearing for my life everyday, but when bad weather is forecasted now, I really expect the worse and hope for the best because the past 2 years weather has been awful imo. Yes weather has been happening forever but recently it just seems to be worse. Literally every time it rains now, there is a bunch of wind or something else with it. Then it doesn't rain for like 2 weeks, but when it does again, it's just bad weather. Not to mention, tornadoe watches and warnings in kentucky have been a lot more common. This isn't just KY though, it's everywhere somewhat. All types of weather are just getting bad.
Hurricane/Tornado/Tropical Storm/Storm season like always
Sorry, but these temps in SC are normal lol we’ve just had abnormal cooler summers for the past 4-5 years. It was this hot and humid when I moved here in 2010

Every year for my whole life it’s gotten hot during the summer time I didn’t know this was a new thing
It's interesting to know why in great detail
Here in North MO the past couple of days, the highs have been in the low to mid 80’s and nights in the 60’s. Having my windows open have been great! ❤ That all changes beginning tomorrow..Highs in the 90’s.
Looks like the AC will be back on soon! 😞

The only thing doing well in my garden are the June bugs and Hornworms! Come on Autumn!
Don't talk about end of July Max! Summer flies by so fast here! Hoping for no rain since I got at least 2 inches from Beryl in less than 24 hours. Areas around me got 5+ inches so I was lucky.
I remember so many people back in January and February say they can't wait until summertime. Now those same people are complaining about the heat 😂 🤣🤣🤣.
I myself cannot stand the summer. You can't do anything in this heat. Power bills are insane and if you do go outside, you really have to be extremely careful. The heat is responsible for more fatalities than the cold. During winter, you can simply add more layers. But during summer, you are sol.
Do you work outside?
Mom always said son.....it gets hot in the summertime 😂
Hahaha
You do know that thousands of people are dying all over the world because of this "unprecedented" heat, right?
@@Shiryone More people die due to cold weather then hot weather historically.
@@Backertothegrave I'm sure they do, but the fact remains that this heat is breaking record after record, worldwide.
@@Shiryone compared to what the technology to measure weather to the precision we have today is like 3 decades old max. These records are like 200 years old max with most of that measured using rudimentary technology.
Do you know how they used to measure the temperature of sea water pre satellites, get a bucket dunk it in the ocean and stick a thermometer in it, the buckets were wood, leather, cloth, steel, tin, no one thought of the insulation properties and ambient temperature of the bucket and it's effects on the results.
My point being it's hard to take this as truly unprecedented, it's just not been documented by "modern Technology". And the population is like 8 billion people if the breeze blows the wrong way statistically x amount of people will die as a direct result. Moral of the story is chill... Weather happens.
I wish these alerts would be clearer on whstbid happening!
Thanks for the good information, from Franklin, NC
In my years on this rock floating in space a few things I've noticed. In the spring it rains a lot and there's a lot of bad storms, in the summer it's hot usually very hot, when fall starts to roll in we get usually get hurricanes (little earlier now) and in the winter it's cold and usually wet from snow and rain. Pretty much it. Sometimes that changes but it usually follows that template
Yep about summed up my experience in VA where I grew up here in tx it is more just variations of summer
Ughhh I live in Iowa and the weather just keeps getting worse
often wondered if these are not actually the SAME events that lay dormant

Quit storming down here in H-Town. I'm sick of the rain.
There has been two big earthquakes to occur on the pacific California and Canada border lines. They occurred a few minutes apart, but they are combining them and reporting them as one earthquake now.
The remnants of Beryl might not have kicked up any tornadoes after leaving NY, but there is considerable damage across VT and NH, and I presume ME as well. My town is dealing with flooding again for the 3rd time in a year. Exactly a year. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the 2023 floods. There are an amazing amount of damaged roads in the state. That alone will take a very long time to repair. A few small communities have been absolutely devastated.

A lot of good people there, of course, and there is good money to be made there....but....landscape and weather is sort of on the low end of desirable...Its not a place you move to unless you have an opportunity, military stationing, or family there.
